  1. It's a good day, good chat, plenty to see, race your car and watch all sorts go up the strip. Leave when your done basically.
  2. They do rwyb on the Sunday too but just jap cars. Saturday is open to all cars. I can't remember how much it is but circa £20-25 for 4 runs. Someone will have a better memory than me Bring some ear defenders for the little one. And your drivers license.
  3. Keep the wheels, they do look good and keep the car original in appearance.
  4. Welcome! Sigh indeed! You can find dozens of polishes to do it, Meguiars is pretty good though and I use G3's range which is nice. Tbh if the whole car is like it it might be worth looking into getting it mopped! Plenty of hatch owners on here with experience to share. Have a look at the recent thread below, it might be of interest re Midlands owners.
  5. Welcome! fire up a quick post in the introduction section, give us the lowdown on the motor etc. Pictures too
  6. Welcome! I'll have a cup of that! . Very well turned out motor there. Did they cry when they handed over the keys? I would've. Has it been rolling roaded recently? Your idle dip is a classic icv issue so start there along with inspection of all vac hoses. It's a process of elimination really but come back and let us know.
  7. My Rotas are 48 and just clear. 45 easily.
  8. I was going to say 3mm should do you and keep decent stud but do whatever your happy and safe with.
  9. !Removed! it one more!
  10. Ok let's stop now!
  11. Its cool neither had I until I dug.
  12. It's an American thing I think 😒
  13. Get the drivers side in and see what happens.
  14. Do you need 5mm?
  15. Yes further out into the arch. I think there is a 15mm adaptor available. If so this would be much better. I would suggest calling up a retailer of them like demon tweeks etc. to get a full understanding of fitment. In all honesty I just don't know for sure when you will start rubbing. Your current fitted wheels if standard will be less than the 8 inch width of the new ones and have smaller width tyres than you will need on the new ones, so looking at it as it is is deceptive to what your new ones would look like with no spacing even if the offset is the same. I think an 8 inch et38 will be tight with 235 tyres in the standard arch. I hope someone can comment further for you.
  16. They won't fit Jamie
  17. Lol least you know now. Handful is probably an understatement then!
  18. Alright Neil, sounds good! Be good to see how it goes down the strip. Please tell me you found out what that switch did?
  19. That'll be it then
  20. More Hawkeye post 2005. Not sure on the 05 Blobs off hand but most if not all Blob STI would be 5 x 100. Be safe to say Hawk STI. Edit - think they did change 05 Blobs to 114.3
  21. 17"x8 114.3. Other post below.
  22. Hi Brenda The main issue you'll have is the adaptor thickness, so the extra offset. A 20mm adaptor would take you right out to 33 offset which would be too wide on the car. Think you'll just have to keep trying for sale section or ebay. They are really nice and I'm sure if priced reasonably they wouldn't take long to sell.
  23. Have you replaced the drivers side sensor (bank 1). How long between oil changes previously do you know?
  24. Always in three's
  25. Sounds promising! Is there a danger of making Japshow?
