Yeah, I probably won't have much choice. It should take them 2-3 hours to fit so 2-3 hours of labour will be cheaper than another 80mile trip + second map adjustment. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Hi all. I just bought a VF35 and Hawk STI injectors to fit to my blob wrx. I will probably do it over the weekend but then I would have to drive it to Scoobyclinic for map adjustment on Monday morning. Question is how un/safe will that be? I may be wrong but from what I've read if you don't go for bigger turbo then factory pump should be ok. The biggest advantage would be reliability I guess

Not sure if its too far for you but you could go to Scoobyclinic in Chesterfield. I've been there today with my gf to get our cars mapped. Her only mod is full decat exhaust - Japspeed downpipe, standard de-gutted up pipe and 3" toyosports catback and pushed 274hp after remap. Mine is similar but with panel filter and Walbro fuel pump but did only dissapointing 250hp. I'm going back on Monday for diagnostics and compression test...

I still haven't decided which brand to use for my Saturdays remap I have Tesco station on my way to work There is also a Shell but the v-power there is absolute rip-off, nearly £1.29 per litre. Next Shell is some 2 miles from me and is normal price there £1.14...

Hi all. I have a set of standard newage WRX wheels, 17" with some budget tyres 215/45. 2 tyres are nearly brand new, 1 looks a few months old and 1 about half worn I would say. Rims are a bit scuffed but still straight, 2 are worse and 2 are not too bad, 2 centre caps are different colour. I'm not really bothered to sell but they just sit in my garage and someone could use some winter wheels. Looking for £150 collected from Wakefield or can post for £31

Apparently manifolds are a big nono. Big power drops from cheap ones. From what I read best one to get is Roger Clark one. I have just finished fitting Toyosports catback on mine. Took me about 40mins even considering fit wasn't perfect and took a bot of fiddling and bracket bending for it to sit right. But it looks good and sounds fantastic :) Well worth that £130. When my gf's get back from work I will be fitting decat Japspeed downpipe and Toyosport catback on her bug :)

Guy at my work did it last year. Tried to show off a bit in the snow and smashed in to the curb sideways. Got himself a nice positive camber lol. He said all he replaced was driveshaft and links

I'll be fitting Toyosports catback to my blob tomorrow and full decat (Japspeed downpipe+Toyosports catback) to my gf's bug as well. Will post some pics up and maybe a little vid with sound :)

Another vote for Scoobyclinic. Also they do remapping on rolling road and you get a pack of printouts as a bonus :) Been there week ago for power run with my blob and diagnostics run with my gf's bug. Awesome place and great staff. Booked remaps for both cars for next week :)

I do 250 miles on a full tank :( And thats 95% of time taking it easy... Roll on next Sat and remap :)

Just finished replacing turbo on my gf's bug. Both cars are filthy lol but will try to find a car wash on our way :) Hopefully will be there some time between 10-11 if we manage to find it :D

Hi all. Just got back from Scoobyclinic and I'm slightly dissapointed with my blob. It has full decat, panel filter and remap and it makes only 240hp. I was expecting at least 260 to be honest but hey, more reasons to throw money at it lol. The problem is with my missus bugeye. Turned out it was overfueling and knocking quite badly. It has cost her 275+vat for a sensor to get it sorted (ouch). Also according to them the turbo is on its last legs. Its leaking slightly and doesn't boost properly. There is a spike and a drop at 4k rpm and car made only 190hp. She has decided to do a full decat and remap but we need to source out a decent turbo first. Does anyone know any supplier for a standard TD04 in a good condition? Reconditioned perhaps? What would you expect to pay for a decent one? I've seen some brand new ones on ebay for £180 but I assume they are them chinese ones? Anyone has any experience with them? Any advice welcome :) Thanks
