  1. Haha just thought, the car before mine was also a bmw! Maybe someone from Subaru snuck into the bmw factory and installed some subliminal message inside their cars somewhere... You heard it here first! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Errmm.. Yep :( also mines an auto.. With.. 4 gears :'( can also get turbo legacies as well though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Moving was great in the legacy, when the boot is open a little bit could hear the exhaust a lot more :D Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. http://www.headlightarmor.com/productimages/subaru/06-sti-smoke-taillight.jpg I know someone's done it already, but I thought you could type "grey Impreza smoked lights" into Google and see many many many wonderful pictures :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. When I done my insurance online, after typing in the car registration, the value that automatically comes up matched or came near to the value that was on another site (forgot which one). If you then got a quote for a different car, that automatic value put in to the value box should change. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hi :) glad you like your car, you will like it even more when it starts to snow :) used to do deliveries in my legacy, after a lot of snow I got assigned the trickier ones :) only problem is sometimes you have to get out to push the car infront :( after my friend got a Impreza sport I think she stopped seeing cars as a tool, but something to enjoy and be proud of :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Sacrificed my socket to get a stubborn rounded one out :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Saw a blue W reg turbo with 2. Owners, 160,000 miles, MOT Feb in Norwich going for £1500 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. My heater doesn't work on the low powers, only on full, saw somewhere there is a resistor in the wiring that controls that. Managed to get the fan spinning on low though if I jiggle the wires connecting to the fan :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The car or the health issue?
  14. A lot of the bits look similar between the two which is great news, now you know where you can easily get spare parts from!
  15. Impreza breakers around Norwich changed my fronts, think they charged 2 hours labour per bearing and was around £30 an hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. If that's your car in your pic, http://www.ukvehicle.com/T261KEC/ did a quick search on google with number plate, that site came up with old mots, what it failed on etc also old for sale adverts, so might be able to contact previous owners if they left a number :)
  17. Hi it's the White legacy in the pic :) after getting it I typed the reg in Google and found a picture of it :) can't be arsed with blanking out number plates anymore. https://www.flickr.com/photos/8494603@N08/5987779902/in/photostream/lightbox/
  18. My friends X reg Impreza sport special has a high biting point, but it also has a hill holder system which keeps the brake applied when the clutch is down, so you are using the clutch and brake with just one pedal. Just before biting point the brake is released, so I'm guessing the pedal is meant to be quite high :)
  19. Hi was wondering if anyone has had this? Both sensors were reading fine, then thought as things were looking a bit dirty in engine bay, went to clean my airfilter, threw in some carb cleaner, disconnected some wire connectors including o2 sensors, gave them a spray and clean etc. Now the Wideband is reading 3V but acting normal, like 1.5V is constantly being added? took some pics when engine off ignition on, just after starting when voltage starts to rise, while driving on throttle/off throttle etc I am guessing the car is just ignoring the sensors now and CEL is on, doesn't appear to be running lean. Any help much much appreciated! :)
  20. Got 2 new front bearings, 2 used driveshafts fitted for around £250-£300ish at impreza breakers in Norfolk, but was for a 2001 legacy. Got a video where you could clearly hear wheel bearings (both sides had gone!) incase someone wants it to compare with, but can't upload on here :(
  21. iPad wouldn't let me write a comment! Was going to say, filled up the wet vac with soap and conditioner, then let loose on interior and roof :)
  22. Second that on the pics :)
  23. Did an oil and filter change, wanted the car on ramps going toward the garage so it's not hanging out on the pavement. precision!
  24. After resetting the codes, sometimes you would have to drive the car for so and so miles and start the engine so many times before certain other codes will show so check again later, maybe that other code will reappear
