  1. On a nice sunny frosty morning, took dogs for a walk, which meant much small A road and B road driving. Never got faster than 60 really, but the fun in first 3 gears made me fall in love again lol
  2. Middle lane drivers grrrrrrr. Don't get me started lol Agree, using the phone while driving is a daily occurrence and can't be policed. I know the point for it are going up this year, but I don't think that will stop it.
  3. I would suggest change air filter and then get a remap. That can add quite a bit more oomph.
  4. Just one thing that might be overlooked. You mentioned you will travel to sw London. Not sure where, but I believe there are take (might be in place all ready) about allowing diesels into London. Also I know there are certain restriction of what cars are allowed inside the m25. Might wanna check that out before anything else. Older subarus might not meet the requirements.
  5. Lol. Really I am sorry [emoji39]
  6. I haven't had the chance to look yet (back at work :-( ). But I think I'll have them. Pm me details please
  7. Got front drop links, couple brake disc, brake pads, bushes, and spark plugs. Happy days
  8. Ah it was you! I was in talks to get this and you beat me to the PayPal while I was at work! [emoji35][emoji22][emoji23] anyways, got a few parts off @Hinuk and can vouch for the guy. He's good. Don't bother posting on here as well as he doesn't check it much. Better off emailing him like he said in the original post [emoji4][emoji1303] Yea sorry [emoji6]. It looks perfect. Got to fit it in Jan sometime. Look perfect though
  9. I would imagine they would fit. I'll have look at what I've got over Christmas. How much are you asking for them?
  10. Could be. I guess they are to fit a 2005 wrx? Any details/pics of them? Pm me if you want
  11. Me too, luckily my shift ends today, but restarts on Monday [emoji45]
  12. Well I experienced the under steer going around a round about yesterday. Didn't like it lol. So a rear arb and c drop links are on the list for next year [emoji1]
  13. +1 on the cosworth panel filter. I was recommended to get one without oil. Haven't had a problem so far.

You have a great looking car. I'm interested in any answers too. I think you can get 'plug and play' bulbs, but could be wrong.
  15. Gotcha lol. Would you recommend a brand?
  16. Sorry stants just saw your post. Sounds good to me. Start with the rear arb. Is there any make I should go for?
  17. Hey savage. Is refresh a brand? Or have I read it wrong lol And leave the front end as stock?
  18. Hi all. Now I've got the level of power I'm happy with, I'm starting to look at the handling of my 2005 wrx. I know there are many things I could do, so just wanted a bit of advice as it appears to be a mine field lol. My car is (as far as I know) stock except front shocks are sti ones. Later in the year I intend getting a set of coil overs. Other that that stock. My car is my daily and I don't do track day. I'm not looking for a car so stiff it knocks my fillings out, but enough to cope with the extra power added (285bhp). I've been looking at front and rear white line strut braces to start and possible anti roll bars. Is this a good place to start? Also I'm not made of money, so I will get the part one at a time and fit when I've got them all. Many thanks for any help
  19. Ahh I see. Been in there many times myself (used to be a car transporter driver). I'd like 5 or 6 (in case I lose any more) if poss. But please don't risk you job for a couple of pounds.
  20. That's very kind of you. I haven't got them yet (Christmas and all that lol). Do you have many?
  21. I'm not an expert (very far from it) but when I was looking for one, I did some research. What I found is that the 2.5L can (an I emphasise can) suffer from ringland problems and head gasket problems. So I went for the blobeye to minimise the risk. So the first thing I would do, if I was you, would have the engine stripped and rebuilt and get these parts sorted before I think about upping the power. Again I'm not an expert and I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
  22. Could do, worth a think. Thanks for all you help. Any opinions welcome on any visual mods.
  23. They do where I live. We seem to get a lot of fog. But go about 10 miles away and it's clear. Also most road from where I live to a main road don't have white lines painted on roads. The fogs help see the hedge. I use them quite a bit.
  24. I quite like that. Also fog lamp covers - I like the way it finishes the front end, but I guess they would make the fog lamps redundant? I have seen a pic of a blob with fog lamps built into the covers, but can't seem to find them for sale. Has anyone done this? Is it a diy job?
