  2. Hi Stuartie, Hoping your talking about a GC8 - I gave my plugs a go and gave up (for the moment that is). What tool combo did you use? I'm finding it difficult with the ratchet being unable to fit between the engine and the side of the engine bay. E.g. So I have Spark plug socket attached to an extension then I try to attach to the ratchet. I have tried attaching a flexible thingy between the extension and ratchet but no joy. Apologies for the newbie question. Would appreciate any advice.
  3. No problem at all mate. The wagon does look good though. I would agree the tweaks Tidgy mentioned would add a nice look too. Just a couple questions if I may, prior to fitting did you have any steering issues I.e notchy at 70mph? And what are like with speed humps, is exhaust ok? Just looking at some Bc's & Yellow speed that's all. cheers buddy.

  16. Hi, I have this problem too. Did you manage to resolve this? in my example I think there's a missing grommet or something - see top left of the air vent.

  18. Hi Guys, A similar problem to Sirspidey. I think I'm missing a grommet in each bonnet air vent. I have a 1999 UK 2000 GC8. Currently noticed water in the battery tray. should there be a grommet? if yes, what happens with water build up if I was to seal it? cheers

  23. Thanks for the replies & links Stants, Jay762 & SB (your detailed write up was excellent) I totally agree with getting underneath with the wirebrush to check the overall condition. Any recommendations on Whiteline Arbs - whether 22mm or 24mm for front & rear. I've seen link packs too so may line up an upgrade if the corrosion is really bad - I think it is lol A question on Lifting kits, I've seen Halfords have a deal for £40 for 2 x 1tonne Axle stands & 2 Tonne jack - Or should I buy separately 2 x 1.5tons Axle stands & a 3 tons jack? Tempted to go with the later considering the motor weighs 1.2tons. Also looking to get a full exhaust system so will definitely get the headers wrapped during installation.
