  1. Is it this shape ? Should be able to get a rear screen off the bay, Leicester subaru spares and West yorkshire Subaru spares are two that spring to mind Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/topic/161161-newage-sti-intercooler-onto-classic/ Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. You can get a generic resonator from the bay and have your mid section cut and this welded in place Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. Newage coolers fit on classics but require the intercooler brackets from the new age you will have to cut down the brake fluid cylinder and depending if your turbo is top entry or not may need some modifications. I'll try an dig out the link Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. Find the Ariel and unravel 1st off, 2nd the sigmas are prone to interference so if you live near high voltage cables or comms masts this plays havoc with the alarm, one member had to push his car 500yards away from a power substation to get his to work ! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. Or 02 sensor, Look under the steering column there's 2 sets of plugs green & black, connect the black pair (bit rusty could be the green ones can't remember) together and turn ignition on to 1st stage the engine management light will blink out any stored codes, long ones are multiples of 10 and short ones are aingles, so if it has three long flashes followed by 2 short ones would be code 32 It will cycle through any stored codes then stop for 2 seconds before repeating. If it's a steady constant flash then no stored codes Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. I think you are one of a handful of new model owners here, If no one gets back to you I'd try our friend's across the pond on www.subaruforester.org plenty of newer model owners there should be able to help/point you in the right direction Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. one of the mods/admin team, there should have been a pm sent to you explaining the reasoning why Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. No real thread on parts to use but I'm sure you've come across www.importcarparts.co.uk ? Best place for oem stuff, I'd use genuine subaru oil filter, blue ones are about 9 quid while the black ones (supposedly better) about £12.00 Air filters most of us use cosworth dry foam type, saves the maf form getting oily. Oils any good fully synth will be fine again most of us use Miller's 10-40 is recommended for classics (unmodded) As for the belts you can get full kits from ipc again The gates/blueprint belts are good depends on what price range your happy with Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. Impartsb46 on ebay often have body panels rear quarters etc for sale, just had a look there nothing for classics at the mo but may be worth mailing them to see if they have them or can get them Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. If its totally goosed, then best /easiest option would nbe to buy new rear quarters and have the body shop cut out evrything and weld in the new, not cheap but the only way to be sure youve got it all and done a prroper job. @savagebulldogs knows someone who has had this done and may still have some pics Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
  12. It looks pretty much the same apart from the wiring is included on the pic i posted, Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
  13. Is this the type of sender you have ? If so it should only screw in about half way leaving the tip to sit in the flow Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Is your leggy a wagon or saloon ? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk As this fits some revisions
  15. Impirt car parts should be able to sort you out Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. Could try Garry at gr performance in Rotherham, a couple of members have used him for open source maps@mfnick had his blob done by them. Area 52 in Nottingham also do mapping but not sure what they deal in, as@tidgy says clinic are one of the go to places in the Midlands Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. There's Richard Henry over in Bradford if you don't fancy a trip 'down south' never used them but been there, I used to use Martin at sheffield subaru services, always found him to be spot on and reasonable cost wise. However both he and Scooby clinic will tell you just doing the headgasket's is a false economy and your best off with a full stripdown & rebuild due to the crank bearings being damage when the heads go. So you may get the same from Richard Henry, I'm only making you aware of this incase you think they are taking the **** and trying to fleece you, they aren't and are trying to potentially save you more money in the long run Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. Hello & welcome, do like that wagon 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. Where are you trying to squeeze yourself into [emoji23] As I only have a paltry 97bhp I propose a 1/4 mile running race or sack race Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. I may pop down in Oct and say hello Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Ah ok do you have a sandwich plate that goes inbetween the oil filter and the modine ? Normally they have places to put a temp sensor in Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Oh no ! You can extract from the dipstick but takes a while and it's a pain in the !Removed! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Don't do it ! You will be sad like me now I'm scoob less unless you want to trade me for my 09 plate focus with 90k 4 fresh tyres and a new cambelt [emoji23] Seriously it's slow as hell and you wouldn't want it but it's only costing me 50 quid a month in fuel as opposed to 30 a week and I'm not attracting idiots at every opportunity so that's it's only good point Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. stants
