New Owner Cube to Forester Big Change
What side of London are you ? As Neil at slowboy racing and Sean wiffin of forester parts are down there I think sean is Enfield way if that helps, The paint is thin on subaru but not really seen it on bonnet, front end does take a beating though. I'd have it up on ramps and poke around underneath if it's not been sealed or is coming away I can recommend a wire brush and an underseal of your choice, Dirty work but will be good in long run 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Intermittent clutch judder when cold
Do you have an good indy's near you ? My local one is a 70 mile round trip but for the savings it's worth it, he's at least half the price of main dealer As for tyres any with an xl rating would be fine,. Last two sets I had were good year efficient grip and the uniroyal rain sport 3's both of which I liked and were fantastic in the wet Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

New Owner Cube to Forester Big Change
Hello & welcome looks nice ! Main thing is to run it on premium fuel and keep on top of regular oil changes, and check for rust round the suspension turrets maybe get some waxoil and treat the areas to prevent build Up of crud. Avoid any main dealers and find yourself a localish subaru specialist ad they will be at least half the price of dealer for work, once you have your head round the engine layout it's fairly simple to work on if hand with the spanners. And we're all friendly here so any question no matter how trivial will be answered Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Intermittent clutch judder when cold
Clutch judder is pretty common on suabrus, how many miles is on the clutch ? After I'd had mine replaced and the flywheel skimmed it was alot better. I'd go for a brand of tyres you like etc as the yoko's are a bit noisy and I didn't like them for feel. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Induction air pipe to turbo replacement help
If it's the oem one that's coming out get a hacksaw blade and cut it into bits, much easier, and the replacement silicone one should go in with some manipulation without having to take the inlet off Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Help tuning subaru impreza 1.6
Don't waste your money save up and buy a turbo model, You'd need everything from cooling/charge cooling to full exhaust system, boost control ngine harness ecu injectors etc etc I believe the gearbox is different too Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Winning noise
Did they drive it at 70 ? To see for them selves or was it just on ramps that it was checked ? My guess is of they haven't it's a diff/ or bearing issue when my wheel bearing failed there was no signs of play just got louder and louder until it started to cook itself, have a drive around and then touch each wheel centre see if ones excessively hotter Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I needed it 3 months ago and the old man said I could have it and pay him once I'd stripped mine, I need something bigger though ! Focus is tiny and slow 🤣 although is only costing me 50 a month on fuel instead of 30 a Week, I'll do some man maths 🤣 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Forester SG Facelift 2.5 XT - New Intercooler & Terracean?
Just out of interest what fuel do you use in it ? Your man's talking nonsense they can be mapped, you will need to speak to a reputable mapper who know his onions, Looking 10-15bhp on a 11 year old car isn't that bad, however if you got it mapped you'd see gains of up to 260-270bhp alot more torque and better fuel economy, it comes at a price anywhere between 350-600 depending on what software is used, open source is cheaper but you don't get as much end user support, others like ecutek will charge you for a licence. You'd need to stick in an uprated fuel pump for peace of mind to stop it leaning off under increased boost but that's about it, Over time it will pay for it's self just depends on how long your planning on having the car. As for the intercooler most of us just bend the fins back, easier if removed from the car to save you breaking your back. You could look at ebay for a used sti intercooler but it may require some additional parts like the chimney from the bonnet scoop. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Any Ideas on Remap Power Gain?
No for the turbo, as you'll have to change everything, headers different, you'd need an up pipe/downpipe/exhaust system Boost control, cooling/intercooler engine loom different ecu compression is different too so the engine would have to come apart, for a start. Supercharging may be slightly cheaper but I reckon your still looking at alot of money Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Whyme
What spring/ strut combo did you get ? If you were replacing dead sls units you'd have to get shocks with a stiffer rate to compensate for the difference, again if you bought wrx wagon springs they are too soft as the fox is around 50kg heavier at the back than the wrx Something like this would have been perfect http://www.pedders.co.uk/subaru-forester-sg-pedders-ezifit-strut-conversion-kit-rear_p22538557.htm#.WYdKhHPTXqA Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
