  1. Have a look at the dust covers on the back of the discs they can get pushed onto the disc face and can cause a grinding sound, normally a screwdriver underneath and ease it away from the disc normally rectifies the problem, cheaper than chasing possible dead bearings, Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. Unless you know s friendly tester, Where are you located & I'm sure someone will be able to give you a few pointers Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Loads on eBay seem to be ok cheap@mrB has used them in his customer cars Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. Ah boo ! Only other thing I'd try is eBay alot of the US dealerships have pages and sell stuff cheaper than here even when you take into tax &shipping Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. Tried import car parts ? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. They are normally in the coin pocket by your right knee or glove box area have you got loads of storage ? I'd hunt round the front 1st. I've only seen one of the new shape at the garage I go to looked really nice Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. Most people run with the side lights on as the alternator is a 'smart' type just helps top the battery up. do the new cars have eyesight and all the new fancy gubbins ? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. @Vmf don't bother the n/a is pushing out just about all it can give, you'd be looking at 350-500 for a map which wouldn't really make the gains worthwhile, I'd spend the money on making it stop better and go round corners quicker Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. 76mm silicone maf to turbo hose with take off (can be blanked) £25.00 delivered o.b.o Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. Oh a map and a few supporting mods will see you close to 280ish on the standard turbo with increases across the board and slightly better mpg too ! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. Hello & welcome The m & sti taxes are about the same but there's loads of places to get stuff from that are way cheaper than main dealer. Be warned it's addictive, if you haven't already look into changing the rear arb one of the best pound for pound mods out there 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. Buy the new one and sell me yours [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  13. I've been using Martin for the last 5 years can't fault his work or prices, even though I'm now scoob Less I'm still taking the ford there as I know he'll do a proper job. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Nice ! 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. What side of London are you ? As Neil at slowboy racing and Sean wiffin of forester parts are down there I think sean is Enfield way if that helps, The paint is thin on subaru but not really seen it on bonnet, front end does take a beating though. I'd have it up on ramps and poke around underneath if it's not been sealed or is coming away I can recommend a wire brush and an underseal of your choice, Dirty work but will be good in long run 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. Do you have an good indy's near you ? My local one is a 70 mile round trip but for the savings it's worth it, he's at least half the price of main dealer As for tyres any with an xl rating would be fine,. Last two sets I had were good year efficient grip and the uniroyal rain sport 3's both of which I liked and were fantastic in the wet Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. Abw or ht autos should be able help on the body kits Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. Hello & welcome looks nice ! Main thing is to run it on premium fuel and keep on top of regular oil changes, and check for rust round the suspension turrets maybe get some waxoil and treat the areas to prevent build Up of crud. Avoid any main dealers and find yourself a localish subaru specialist ad they will be at least half the price of dealer for work, once you have your head round the engine layout it's fairly simple to work on if hand with the spanners. And we're all friendly here so any question no matter how trivial will be answered Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. Import car parts best bet Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. Td05 is getting long in the tooth but cheaper than the vf series, all depends on budget Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Bosch s4/s5 always good had a high cca too which was nice in winter, euro car parts always have loads of sales in the site, maybe worth checking them too Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Clutch judder is pretty common on suabrus, how many miles is on the clutch ? After I'd had mine replaced and the flywheel skimmed it was alot better. I'd go for a brand of tyres you like etc as the yoko's are a bit noisy and I didn't like them for feel. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Mine didn't make through one mot 🤣 saying that it didn t pass with the old oem system on either. Just need to locate a nice testing station Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. If it's the oem one that's coming out get a hacksaw blade and cut it into bits, much easier, and the replacement silicone one should go in with some manipulation without having to take the inlet off Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. Can't fault my cobra one, perfect fit, I had the same system as savage but had a sports cat in the down pipe, was nice and burbley but not too annoying at high speeds Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
