  1. Just get a non silicate based one as above the oat stuff will be fine, just put a hose pipe in the top hose and leave it running with bottom hose disconnected and the rad for 5 mins that will wash out all the old stuff then what ever you put in won't react with the old stuff
  2. Moved boost/op from left side of dash to centre last night, powered all up and stopped working, so came to work early re soldered everything now works, Awaiting an npt threaded galley plug to attach oil temp to, now just need to find out what the hell this means perm live or just ign live & negative ? Unlike you impreza chaps I don't have a clock on the dash to take power from so I wnat to get it right as I'm about to hack into the demister button or hazards [emoji50]
  3. Ain't work out why new sender won't go into the block arrrghing ! So now at work with car in bits
  4. It's made so much difference in the way it engages the clutch and drives, I guess it had lost of of it's properties and the clutch was biting ever so slightly, made a horrible noise when driving too. For the cost of a turkey baster (50p) and 6 for some fluid it's well worth it
  5. Mine looked like this last week [emoji33] Didn't do a full bleed yet but sucked out as much as I could and replaced with fresh then repeat the process weekly for a month if you can' be bothered doing a full bleed
  6. Don't you already have buckets in the front ? That set doesn't look in brilliant condition really

  8. Can't always go by colour I have pink/orange o.a.t stuff in at the mo, rather stupidly they never got together and said right this colour will be xx. So any company cam make it what ever colour it likes [emoji35]

Did a vid clip but it's rubbish had wrong back door on so will do a better one later on
  10. To be honest I wouldn't bother unless your going for 360bhp + the standard air box is quite effective
  11. New op sender and water temp sender adaptor. I'm pretty much stuck now till they arrive as I could remove the existing t peice and pop in the oil temp but no point taking most of it apart twice, Off to buy a new soildering iron haha
  12. 1st delivery arrived
  13. Could be anywhere according to the Internet, main computer in early models is under seat with gps receiver in back of car, some have it in the dash and others centre console by all accounts
  14. Is it from cold or all the time ? Could be one of many things but ad Clive advised me have a look atvthe clutch fluid in the slave and if it's haggard pull it and pop some fresh stuff in see how it goes, if it's noticable may be worth doing a full bleed, Also could be down to worn engine mounts but yours is quite young so shouldn't be an issue, some good upgrades are group n pitch mount & gearbox mount & carrier bushes as the oem ones are a bit weak Oe on lef, sti right Oe gearbox mount & crossmember bushes Sti/group n mount, less holes &stronger rubber

  16. There's a guide to starting with out the code in the electronics section I think, I'll have a dig around
  17. Hello & welcome, feel free to have a nosey round the forum we're all friendly, not really sure but you'd probably need a loom adaptor so they all connect to each other, not sure about availability of them, is the car you bought the nav from still being broken ? I've never seen the interior of an xv so hopefully one of the owners will be along

I'll pop the camera in the car and get a video tomorrow for you mate
  19. Pooped myself again when the oil pressure dropped to 0.9 then 0 bar. Shows pressure when on the move But not at idle so new sender & t peice on the way along with some more goodies to relocate stuff
  20. Deffo fro a phone i'd say
  21. Sorry mate I read the tread and assumed that's waht you ment
  22. stants replied to coll's topic in Subaru Impreza Club
I had my car mapped at GR can't fault them, nick on here had carberry ecu software done by them too. Bit of a mission to get them on the phone may be worth popping by. Have a look in the Yorkshire & Humber section for pics of past meets and what not, That's it if you don't mash the pedal into the carpet at every opportunity they can be driven sensibly and return 'normal' mpg

Nah they don't do maps, you'd have to visit the clinic or somewhere similar, GR performance is round the corner from you, Depends what you ask for from cobra, they do full turbo back or cat backs to just sections if you want, There's local ish meet down at sheffiled subaru services on the 2nd Monday of every month if you fancy popping along
  24. I had it made @cobra sport in Sheffield, there was a lot of debate on weather impreza ones would fit etc, and I couldn't be bothered buying one to have it modified. So I'm 3" all the way through with sports cat and twin resonated centre cost a bit more but I don't have to swap at m.o.t time and it's not overly loud until your giving it the beans
