  3. Hello & welcome get some pics up lol. As for subaru garages there's Howard in Hebden Bridge, (hdc subaru) Richard Henry in Bradford and Sheffield subaru services next to medowhall, I'm in leeds and personally use Sheffield as greats service and martins a good bloke. 4. Not sure as I read that cars in sub 99kgm category that pay 20 quid a year are going to be moved into the 140 quid bracket
  5. We all know who rules the roost in your house anyway gambit
  6. Good work fella ! I've a load of stuff sat in various baskets just waiting for me to click checkout, (still) supposed to be saving for a wedding [emoji52] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  7. 9.5 may be a bit wide, people say the rear struts may rub, and possibly need the arches rolling do you have a set you can offer up before buying any? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  8. Best thing ever lights that turn off when you kill the ignition [emoji51] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  9. Just run with the sidelights on, something to do with the way the alternator works by all accounts it only chagrges when it needs to, if you have the lights & radio on it will 'see' the usage and tell the alternator to start charging the battery Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  10. Have a look at black diamond discs and pads I've just put a set of pads on standard discs and the difference is night and day, ebc seem to have mixed reviews on subaru's for some reason so although I've used them on other cars I thought I'd take a punt on something different. Maybe go braided lines and a brake booster for extra feel As for handling, what's your ultimate aim ? Have you considered just upgrading bit by bit ? Maybe start with droplinks & maybe a rear arb with proper geo set up and see how you get on, that way further down the line you can add springs or coilies, alk, etc etc if you feel the need. 11. To be fair you sometimes get one with fairy like hands and the dexterity of a contortionist, i sure the french have a wicked sense of humor and deliperatly stuff as much down besides the headlamps as they can Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  12. Remove all speed cameras and replace them with redlight ones, the amount of accidents and near misses due to people running red lights is a greater risk I reckon Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  13. stants replied to andyman's topic in General Subaru Chat
Forge make some nice looking stuff, been tempted for a while Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  14. Yep ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  15. Or make sure you get the black polly bushes that way no one will ever know unless they strip the car down and inspect the bushes by hand, [emoji58]
  16. Cheers for the advice again mate, made the world of difference just changing it without the bleed, it engages smoother and there's no rattling now so looks like the clutch may not be as knackered as 1st thought. [emoji3] si can't be arsed trying to rope the misses into helping tonight so I'll get it done properly over the weekend Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. Hello & welcome sorry to hear your woes, does sound like big end failure however subaru know how to charge and most of the 10k will be labour, a decent engine builder will do it for 3-4k depending on the damage and what needs replacing, may be worth giving api impreza a bell and getting getting a rough quote form them. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  18. £80.64 at vpower prices near me this week, come down a little again, Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  19. Looking at r34's now haha there's the endless R, on piston heads for 57k [emoji3] nice car although the spelling of the ad always makes me wary . Does nobody proof read these days ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  20. Add another 10k for a good gtr though, prices are on the rise. 15k gets you a nice r32 though Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  21. It's horrendous trouble is that it's disfigured the plastic so I did two sucks and had drained it all out because I couldn't see the level properly, [emoji52] refilled as a temp measure till I can bleed correctly just hope I've not introduced any air into the system ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  22. Pic Hahaha Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  23. Can you get a picture ? I have no idea sounds like an abs sensor or something Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. Cel codes clear black plug check, plugged in to evoscan, voltage good, maf values look ok, no increased knock or Anything that looks out of place, only idle is a bit funny so maybe a loose hose, I'll investagate hoses later on, Clive the fluid is filthy ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  25. Cheers Clive I'll have a look I know it's not been done for a while, are they fairly easy to bleed ? Never done one before ☺ Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
