  1. I'll speak to ash & nick see what their plans are
  2. Useful things tow bars ! I imagine the bar would have spread the load evenly so there may not be any structural damage, I wrote off an a class merc when some idiot student decided to try and park her car on the end of mine :-D van wasn't even damaged
  3. Report him for failing to stop at scene ! What a Knobber like you're not going to know that you've been hit.
  4. If it's to buy you a travel kettle im out ! No worries do you have any idea of when pennies will need to be paid ? Need an idea how many people are camping or not, my decision hinges on this lol
  5. South east I think he'll come to you and do live map or you can take it to one of the rolling roads he uses and do a static run Ash has just has his impreza mapped by him in nottingham on thursday
  6. Hello, sorrycan't really help much here as never had an auto, not sure what over filling would do so it may be worth draining a bit out 1st see of it helps.
  7. Simon at jolly green monster should be able to remap for you drop him an email
  8. Haha that looks like the etap here, ghetto who doesn't put a kettle in a room? You make your lass sleep up top ?
  9. Yeah mate I'm still waiting to get my hands on the cash, then start negotiations with the misses :O
  10. Excellent news mate ! Glad it went well and slightly better than expected dyno results
  11. Have a look at www.importcarparts.co.uk for bolt and gasket prices, theres many to choose from depending so that will give you an idea, I'd say a day to strip down and rebuild all being well also depends if theyremove the motor, (ideal world where your mechanic can just work on yours) if I'm wrong I'm sure somome will correct me, Head skimming cost me £ 25.00 last time I had one done, not sure about this but you may not be able to have the head skimmed again. And you'll have to taKe into account theres a pair of heads on a subaru so the other side may need to be done as not to effect the compression, again I may be wrong. I know of a forester being done at the mo, he's not expecting much change from £900
  12. Get it booked hopefully we'll be in time for the hardstandings and won't be getting wet feet on the grass
  13. Whats the deal, is the show over two days or just the sunday ? I have looked at site but only briefly, If just sunday is the idea to get there sat afternoon set up stands then campsite ? Whats the plan for camping? At the pod or billing aqaudrome, So many random questions :-D
  14. I don't have a problem with this but its not my call Whats he drive ?
  15. Boo, saying that you'd need a sit down after hearing the price of a major service for a main dealer, may be worth having a look online for someone who knows their onions, my local one's an 80mile round trip but worth it for the expertise, I wss in same position hardly any histiory etc so had cambelt and all pulleys & tensioners done along with a major service
  16. Is it an upgrade in thickness to the standard bar ? The sf model has a tiny bar but will have to buy the reinforced supports too so I'll be looking to upgrade in the future when funds allow, will be interesting to hear your views once its been driven for a while
  17. Fair enough, I'd book in for a major service for peace of mind, do you have a specialist in your area ?
  18. Ad you can see the instructions are fairly self explanatory 2 ground 1 to engine block, but what do you think the other two are ment to be ? Before anyone says snake oil and what not I thought id give it a go as the older cars have pants grounding. Looking around the web theres loads of grounding info, I'm just a bit unsure where to run the final one from. So far I have 2 block & two ground which seems to be what everyone else has said, but the 5th some say alternator, which I'm a bit unsure of others say lower half of block. Suggestions please
  19. Supplies us with cakes and buns at the meets then does this ! How rude ! ;-)
  20. Fitted headder tank spacer kit & today earthing kit's going in both items are probably negligible in there benefits but who cares :-D
  21. Did gem mention anything about coming ?
  22. Haha well if everyone didn't keep deserting me in west yorks I could have roped in some more people ! That lad with the classic joined up a month or so ago hasn't been back and I've not seen his car around either. Ash may have managed to get some more people from the meet last night. It'a very frustrating aren't we only one car short now ? Too easy to like stuff on fb just for the kudos of being associated with it. I think it's time for gambit to suit up and we'll start going round the houses
