Rear hub lateral bolt
Depends on how heavy handed you are, if you just go jumping up and down then maybe. Of it's had a good soak in some wd40 or similar than applying gentle force on it should just ease it free. If all else fails have a drill handy

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Gaulson, I think one of the easiest ways normally is to pull the plug and crank engine. Earth to top of crank case See if theres a spark. Obvioulsy have a spare good plug so you can change it to eliminate weak spark plugs. This should show you if it's the plug or coil. Need insulated pliers too. Best google it as I'm sure I've missed a step or saftey point ao don't want you to electrocute yourself. Could always take the individual coils odf the pack and vlean them with contact cleaner see if that helps

Bosh, did your fuel light come on ? I'm not entirely sure how much is in the bottom half of the tank after it hits min. My light has never been on (unless it's broken) put twenty five liters in this morning and it took it well past half full. ??

uk Forester S turbo mods
As for other mods, is far as I'm aware the uk cars had a tdO3 turbo so you could swap that for a td04, exhaust, remap, again not sure if you've a remappable ecu. Where do you want to go with it ? As you know from running an sti anything can be achievable if tour pockets are deep enough :-D

uk Forester S turbo mods
Hi mate I replied in the new owners section, do you have any pics ? Like I said in the other post it's prob not worth it as ours run the recirculating type valve and a vta valve will mwke the car run a bit rough, and people have had other problems too, anywya welcom to the club Sent from my SM-T210

wiring help needed please
Essiest place it to use the piggy back fused connector, theres a perm live fuse at the bottom right and any of the others will be live when on, I know I keep banging on about the but they really are such an easy way to add circuits http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Add-A-Circuit-Fuse-Tap-Piggy-Back-MINI-Blade-Fuse-Holder-ATM-APM-12v-24v-volt-/180735824927 Sent from my SM-T210

wiring help needed please
Haha it's the way they put different coloured spots on it all, different years had different colours and that also changes between model too. Are you just after an ignition live and a perm live feed or do you need to chop into that exact part off the loom ? Sent from my SM-T210

Fog light to driving light conversion?
Cheers for the info dave That pisses on my bonfire then, dunno if the impreza is the same but my foglight switch turns the sidelights on at the same time, I now know why ! In the highway code Doesn't flashing your lights mean 'stop I have right of way and am coming past' or similar ? Winds me up the amount of people why drive with the fogs on during day because it looks 'cool' and all the newer cars with turn lighting assist how pointless is that. Drove a citroen a while back and couldn't work out why my fogs were coming on when I went round a corner. Had to get out and let someone turn the wheel shile I looked at the front though I'd left them on and a bulb was out. If you can't see with your lights on in the dark then you shouldn't be allowed on the road. If I'm driving down a narrow rual road which I've never been down I'll maybe put the fogs on to throw a bit more light to the edges but thats about it

What a Forester can do;
I love the amount of clearance they have. Even with yhe running boards on mine It's still about 7 inchs. The newer generations sit a bit higher than the sf but I never fear getting stuck. During the minimal amount of off roading I do. August bank holiday haha. Bitman, does yours have a low range lever ? I see the older uk cars did but my jdm doesnt no idea why ?

Fog light to driving light conversion?
Its actually illegal to have your fogs on if visibility is above a certain distance, I check my high beam and fogs from time to time on the house at the end of the street 90 degree bend, must do their heads in [emoji16] notice that one was outso it got me thinking, turns out the bulb holder had worked its way loose and was iluminating the wheel arch Sent from my SM-T210
