  1. Have a look for subaru specialists near you or withing traveling distance, they will save you loads of money and do just as good a job if not better as after all they'll want your custom
  2. Should have a word get them on here, I reckon dog's getting a bit lonely if it weren't for trips to shout at the dealer !
  3. Hi mate, not sure about your question re dropping it all but if you speak to one of the scooby specialists around I'm sure they'll be able to help you out. I use martin & dave in sheffield @ sheff subaru service, they've answered many a daft question when I've rung up. As for bushes I'd just go for oem spec if you don't want the harshness of polyurethane ones, try www.importcarparts.co.uk for them, if you can't see what you want give them a bell as they'll probably have it in
  4. Hello & welcome feel free to have a mooch around and get involved we're a friendly lot and I'm sure dave and majik will be glad of somone else to wax lyrical about legacies with, pop up some pics when you have a spare 5 mins too
  5. Were you down my way ? Theres at least two tribcea's I see around. One metalic light blue and another sort of an off gold, plus saw an xv in a horrible greeny colour in town last week
  6. Which part mate ? Theres seem to be a few bits on that photobucket link
  7. Hello welcome , yes pictures are always appreciated, nice to have anither foz owner on board after david jumped ship [emoji12]
  8. I'm justvin the autofactors direct page now :-D
  9. Thanks for that, currently one's nearly dead and the rest are all saging all ovet the place so it's an emergency buy everything job and replace
  10. Do you have a link for kby's can only find stufc to fit the SG I'm guessing they'd fit but dont wat to take a chance
  11. Mr b, Thats what I was thinking but I could do with new tops too was just trying to get the entire package cheaper as I didn'd really want to buy any in the 1st place. Had kyb's in the past and found them to be good, whats your opinion on the pedders stuff ? Sorry I was typing the reply as before seeing your other post :-D
  12. Now I'm slightly confused as various foz websites recommend a 6/5 fron rear rate where as bc website is 8/6 Although I've read that that combo makes it unbarable as a daily drive. Going on weights of models the sf has the least kerb weight but highest front spring rate ? I'd have thought that it would be more in line with the classic impreza set up due to there no being much difference in weight

    Cheap type r

How many have you had this year ? ; ) maybe he has itch feet. Seriously though I reckon he's smashed the front end wount let you drive it to find out and will take your money and run off
  14. Damn you ash your not doing much to put me off buying them hahaa !
  15. Can anyone tell me what the standard spring rates are please? Lookiing at replacing the suspension, one bc kit lists replacement springs at 8kg/mm at the front and 6kg/mm rear, I think this may be too much.
  16. I'm looking at the pedders kit for foresters so guess it's a straight swap ? Wasn't even planning on taking the bottom swing arm off just unbolting compressing spring dropping the tops and wriggling out. Is that possible ? It's worked on other cars I've done If I went for the coils would anywhere that could do 4wheel alignment be able to do the camber plates properly ?
  17. I'll move this into the parts wanted section mate should get more responses. I've a pair of rear struts coming off soon although one is totally shagged
  18. Very nice :-D Goes to scour import sites once again
  19. The suspension on the foz is dead, So havinh to make an enforced chamge means I am within a budget. My initial thoughts are seeing as the rear is sat lower than the lowering kits I've been looking at and the front isn't much far off go down the re using top mounts and geting new shocks/springs all round. But seeing as the bc setup for the foz is only a ton more do I splash out and go down that route And get some shiny new top mounts included in the price ? Whats the ride like on pillowball mounts is there a massive increase in nvh? Is it worth it and do they come set up with default camber settings or do I need to factor in an alignmet session into cost ? The car is never going to be tracked so do I save my money and go with the cheaper option ?
  20. Yep as much as I like shape of mine the sti looks the business plus more ip to date bigger faster better handling etc. If I had the money I'd have one like a shot.
  21. Hi welcome, did you get your side light issue sorted ?
  22. Not sure sometimes a little spot of liquid gasket is needed in the corners to help but not done the subaru, I've had enough stories of pain so I'm paying to have it done, could it just be any remaining oil burning off ?
