  6. Thought about changing turbo gasket until i got underneath car and thought sod that for an easy job. How do you get to the lowest stud without removing the steering linkage ?
  7. Went to check oil and clean filler cap dropped cap into depths of engine bay. Spent 10 mins trying to retreive swore a bit and cut hand to shreds
  8. Maybe try re setting the ecu may not be used to running on good fuel. You can also do a laymans test on the maf. Unplug the sensor while the cars running and it should stall if it's working ok. (Not an exact way of telling) if you have a multimeter could always test the resistance for a more accurate test
  9. Thanks for this, still non the wiser i'm hoping to get a 2nd hand set of an 03 car. Do they have a fitment sticker on the inside of the rim ? My old watanabe's had. If so would make life easier i can see them and compare

  13. Anything on helmet types/specs needed & whats the noise limit there ? :O Maybe worth getting a group buy at the ready haha !
  14. I'm not the most clued up person when it comes to 'rims' so need some help. Looking at going up an inch to 17"s the wheels are from a 03 impreza. I know i'll have to drop to a 50 profile tyre to take into account the bigger size. The bit i'm not really getting is the offset i think, Been told the impreza ones are 55mm and mine is 48mm so i'll need spacers 3mm should do. Or the rears will rub. Whats the deal with spacers, do they sit inbetween the hub and wheels ? Are there any cons to using them.
  15. From top view you can't even see it on mine :-)
  16. Thats where i lost all me tools trying to get the adapter and sender screwed into no3 :'( fiddly but annoying.
  17. To on top of the no3 cylinder ?. It's a ball ache !
  18. normal driving it will fluctuate between positive and negative boost a lot as your always stoping and starting it also depends on what gear your in and how many revs your puling at the time. Se if you can find a quiet long and straightish bit of road pref with nat speed limit. Just drive as you would normally, and keep an eye on revs and boost. You'll see where and when the turbo starts spooling in relation to road speed/gear. not sure on the impreza think it's around 2500-2700 rpm. As soon as you come off the gas the engine will dump all excess pressure and you'll return to a negative presure reading. Sorry if this is telling you to suck eggs but it's the easiest way of explaining
  19. Under load or idle ? Standard car as matty said, should read +0.8bar under full load, at idle mine reads -0.8 Depends on where you've got it plumbed into and if its electrical or mechanical type too
