  1. He said if i was paying he'd have done it for £25. Rear spoiler will be getting done if i can get the screws off without breaking anything
  2. 2nd mr b. My belt wasn't evpensive just all the associated bits that went with it ! If you want a laugh phone subaru up and get a quote from them. I paid for belts pulleys idlers etc and major service for nearly the same amount as a main dealer would charge for the cambelt doing :O
  3. Just out of interest how much oil does your car use ? The level on my dipsticks hardly moved, i know this is a good sign of a healthy engine but i'd expected to have seen a little more used in the three and a half thousand since the last change. She's approaching 17years old and 130,0000 miles i've not had to top up a drop
  4. Dropped it last tuesday but the guy who was painting it had some family business to attend to. I had to go to glasgow on a last minute thing so had to get scoop back primed and return it to be finished when i got home. Still more than happy and cant complain as it was done as a favour :-D
  5. Got scoop back eventually Perfect match
  6. stants replied to jorgen's topic in Subaru Forester Club
I've wondered what the little thing that looked like a skewer was sitting nexf to turbo was, i assumed it was a release fork for somthing i couldn't see. Good job i didn't pull it out without investagating. Can it be filled from underneath if the cars on a lift for access?
  7. Ooh esl boards and maping seems to be cheaper than everywhere else too, unless that doesn't include vat.
  8. Hello :-D Give these chaps a try http://www.cobrasport.com/
  9. Your not missing much, unless you want to know what someone who you didn't really like at school/work had for breakfast. I've a profile but never go on these days, stopped when i split up with the ex years ago
  10. Only really use the car at weekends have a van and, cycle to work so keeps average cost down :-)
  11. Saw some chap filling up a 458 at my local asda recently. I just looked and thought why ? Then i clocked the horrible black/yellow paint he'd decided to 'customise' it with. Said it all really. It's come down to 1.36 where i am at the mo :-D Like you say the collecting shell reward points off set the 6p difference. Got last statment and i've put 400 litres in, in the last 3 months. When you see it like that it seems alot but breaking it down it works out about 20quid a week
  12. Sweet :-D Goes off to search internets for new rims :O
  13. Ah hairy muff. Maybe we should look at doing something on a rotation basis have one at one side of leeds then one over at other the next month ?
  14. Isn't it off !Removed! lane or leeds old road ? Be easier to come up armley and past owlcotes if coming from center of town. Usually takes me 25mins from sheepacar to thornbury roundabout

  19. Treat yourself lol i bought a slam panel and sent my scoop off to be repainted. I think petes wheels will have tyres and be on by the time mines painted :'( Have the disks and pads arrived yet pete ?
  20. Ah thought it may have been but bever seen one out
  21. Ooh looks good. I'd love to be able to attempt something like this. Pardon my ignorance but whats the roger clark item that arrived in the post picture ?
  22. I'm pretty much easy any time after 5 weekdays and weekends would just need a week or two to book it in with the misses :O
  23. :-D good news mate well done. We will just have to see what time/date veryone's happy with
  24. I upgraded to turbogroove discs and greenstuff pads on the mazda and the difference once they were run in was really noticable. Had braided lines on already but you used to get a lot of fade as the standard pads/discs got hot quickly so i'd say the drilled discs deffo made them stay coller. The subaru is a much heavier car i'd gowith the best your budget can buy you. Do they still do the yellowstuff pads ? Cant remember what order they come in :O
