  1. see the white plug under the master cylinder,to the left, it attaches to the loom there i just unplugged it as it doesn't do much apart from tell you your onfire, mines been ok since, the dash light comes on at start up and goes off when it's supposed to:-)
  2. Didn't even see the thread . I wouldn't even use tie, gambit, and club in the same sentence :-D Seriously it's great to have been put forward to do this as like everyone is saying there's a fair few of us from yorkshire here so i'm looking forward to helping out when and where i can. Getting some regular meets going and generaly having some good banter. And all the road works on the m1 were starting to get on me !Removed! :-) (only joking ash) the chaps from sheff are a good bunch too, the last meet we had there about 20 people turned up. So if we can get anything like those numbers and a nice home base (Richard henry looks perfect) well done to pomny for sorting that one :-) it's gonna be a good 2014 I've just become a dad so if i can't get to some places/dates thats my excuse haha
  3. Just gone for sports cat and twin resonated centre section.3" all the way through, Sounds nice not overly loud no drone just a little burble at idle. (And i can her the turbo spooling up now) :-) I wasn't looking for major prefomance gains or something to wake the world up. I just didn't want to pay dealer prices to replace a dead exhaust. So far seems to be running well can t see any gains as to power (i wasnt expecting to be fair) Boost is falling withing the same ranges so no spiking or overspool. Only thing i'm not happy with is the 'all inc price' didn't include a new tubo gasket so i'll have to change that soon
  4. http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/category/Forester/Protection,b.html Front bullbar here
  5. Finally got time to take it for a wash, just need to get time to spend day on detailing at some point
  6. I'm more of a rubber/latex man myself sorry mate :O
  7. Tuts ! Call yourself a mod ! Should stop looking at leather monthly and do some work hahah !
  8. May not be at this one seeing the inaugural west yorks ones on the 6th. Don't think i'd be allowed it twice in a week !
  9. Funny you should say that as ive been poking around and it's only a two wire sensor meaning it doesn't do a lot, one sensor wire and an earth so i just unspliced them and hey presto no lighty ! So essentially it still thinks sensor's there still no cel codes too :-) It looks like it's jsut the 1st one that does all the work and thats brand new. So we'll see how it behaves tonight Toch wood it's all good, and my car now sounds proper :-D
  10. Yeah i've been looking around but can only see them for new age cars. Any help would be appricaited. Didn't know if it would run too rich ? Drove back from sheff and around thia morning and all sems fine. Just want to get light turned off
  11. Yesterday i had a new sports cat fitted which did away with the 2nd cat and 2nd o2 sensor, the problem being that they had to vut the sensor as it was rusted, the garaged then spliced the two ends together and said not to worry as it will run ok without, normally they just tape it up out the way. This has brought the cat overheat light on the dash. My questions are, Am i ok to run with it as it is ? Will adding a new sensor but not installed cancell the light How can i cancell the light if the 1st question is ok ? Resistor or simillar ? The car runs ok and has no ecl light Ta
  12. May have bit wrong in my description of the towbar points but you get the idea from the pic. It's only bolted onto the floor by one big bolt looks like the balck protective stuff has been removed to do this so i couldn't tell you if they are pre pressed mounting points or not. I'd have a look in general location on yours to work it out :-)
  13. Been to cobra sport in sheffield :-D
  14. Haha ooops didn't mean to offend :-) I'm on bridge street at the storage place on the corner of trafalgar street (safestore)
  15. Hi mate, you drive past my work every day. Thought it sounded like a straight through. Loud as hell. Can here it where ever i am in the building :-) do you work over at j&s or is it just parked in the car park ?
  16. Not sure about 18"s 17in would be ok although i'm not sure what tyres would be available as every time i search it always brings the re-inforced option up. 18" may kill the ride comfort, what do you have on at the mo 15" or 16"
  17. Pedders do a lowering kit new shocks and springs, need to re use top mounts. Bc do a set of coil overs with mounts included bit more pricy though. As for wheels how big do you want to go ? Running boards/steps are available as a factory fit option so i guess someone must do aftermarket ones ?
  18. I've taken one off, i left the hangers on though, from what it looks like the holes were already there, can't be too sure, lift the spare wheel tray out and the underboot storage compartments and see if there are any rubber grommets should be two either side, thats where the bar bolts in if they aren't there then it needs drilling. I'll have a look and take a pic tomorrow for you if you want
  19. Did it sound like the sea ?
  20. Whoop the more the merrier :-)
  21. Averaged 32mpg ! Was driving like a granny though :-)
  22. Just for a bit of fun really, nicked the idea off another forum i used to be on. I'll start, Fitted new slam panel :-)
  23. Do you have the component set up ? If so a straight 6" would suffice and just replace the tweeters with some uprated ones you should be laughing
  24. Mines all sticky so i've just left itas it's black you can't really see it. Dread to think how hard it will be to remove it as i guess it will only come off in little lumps
