  1. Hi mate, 255LPH pump should be sufficient, people have said to avoid the warlbro ones though, there's a ccouple of threads on here regarding different onea
  2. As majik says 350 is a good price, it you wanted to go the whole hog you could have the down pipe made with a sports cat in stainless but it will prob add another 300 onto the the price. One thing to consider is how loud it may be, if the centre sections are resonated at the mo, and if they will be deleted or not whith the stainless system. Did you hear mine at nbo ? Mine has twin resonators in the centre as I didn't want it loud like nicks cos of the baby.

  4. Hi mate, there will be others there who aren't in scoobys so pop down if you want, the other thread 'sheffield subaru services july,

I've seen better defending in an under ten's match [emoji14]
  6. You just changed to a decat downpipe , You can hear it spool up nicely now [emoji16]

    world cup !

Expected a slightly closer game tonight lol
  8. And if you buy new the showroom tax on top ! When we were at nbo and they had the new sti saw the tax disc nearly cried £860 [emoji43]
  9. Your poor dog isn't going to know what's hit him the first time you give it the beans, Stainless will never get that badly corroded I had a full system on the mazda that had been on for 20 years it goes a bit dull and spotty but will always come back with a lot of effort, if you don't have a magnet spare another good way is to give it a tap with something, you'll get a nice metalic ping instead of a dull thud
  10. Doh got broken off for my dinner come back and sav's answered so ignore my waffling on !
  11. I'm no expert & maybe someone can answer better than me, but when you decat a remap is needed otherwise it can cause issues, if the air filter is standard it may be ok but if both are changed it will deffo need one as the air/fuel mix will change, Unless you have some paperwork determining this will be hard as the 97/98 cars are a ball ache (I'm in the same boat) subaru decided to make the ecu virtually impossible to crack so you need an aftermarket stand alone ecu or a duaghterboard inserted into the original subaru ecu to be able to map, easiest way to check is lift the carpet in the passenger foot well and see what you have, the esl daughterboard won't be visible but an aftermarket one will stand out, Is scooby bits located in your part of the world ? Maybe worth popping by and having a word,
  12. Great news mate glad you found a gem in the end, obviously the red foz wasn't ment to be. Who cares when you have that beast to look forward to, [emoji3]
  13. Great news mate [emoji16] glad it was an easy fix, looks like the previous owner was a complete muppet when it came to car maintenance ! Why you'd cut corners is beyond me, Has the car been remapped ? Not sure how it's running right without the sensor, least things are looking up
  14. If I saw a seven and a half tonner in the outside lane doing over 50 I'd be scared as hell ! With the van speed limits you csn only get caught by moblie camera vans and the police patrols, obviously gatso's the like can't distinguish between vehicles, I've been piling round in various size vans for years luckily never been caught doing what I though were legal speeds, now it just gives me an excuse to drive slower and take longer doing my daily deleveries
  15. Nope commercial vehicles are banned from outside lane, I only found out that speed limits for trucks and what not, apply to vans too ! Somone I know found out the hard way
  16. hi mate had a look at mine and it looks like it must go in through the side mounting point to the spoiler, so i guess it runs up the o/s rear pillar along with all the rest of the electrics instead of poppoling out to the high level it just comes through here
  17. Unless you buy an import then no low range, saying that I've never been in that much trouble I've had to use it, still good in mud not had snow yet :-( I may be wrong but I think the jdm stuff has a different, split 50/50 as opposed to the other markets
  18. Sorry I've been reading on my phone and for some reason I couldn't see anything in the post with the code 32 all the text just dissappeared. If the maf or o2 isn't working properly it will either run rich or a lean the ecu will compensate for the problem, easy maf test is to run the car and disconnect the maf. If it stalls it shows the maf is more or less working properly. Not exact and if you have a multi meter you can check the voltage for a more accurate diagnosis. When you pull the maf you'll get another cel come up. Has the car got an aftermarket dump valve on ? Could be the root of your problems, they don't really like them and prefer the oem recirc valve

    Dilemma

Caribbean's overrated ! Plus you'll only be able to go once least you can use the car everyday much more value for money. I've heard Skegness is just as nice this time of year :O
  20. Gambit has a link somewhere that will make up rattle cans up, halfrauds do it too but they are a bit sketchy in the knowledge dept ! As david says call your local dealer and have a word
  21. Hello, sorry to hear of your problem, 32 being o2 sensor, when have a look at the turbo just behind the housing in the exhaust down pipe is the main o2 sensor, have a look at all the wiring and make sure it's in place properly and intact. If it's dying it will flash up a cel light now and then. But should not make a whisteling noise unless it's not done up properly and air is escaping under load ? Seems odd but I suppose anything is possible. You can buy generic sensors for a fraction of the cost as a genuine subaru one but I've been told these dont last. A new subaru one from an internet specialist will be about 140ish. I wouldn't even call subaru unless your sitting down and want a laugh.
  22. Hi mate, which pads did you buy for the rear ? I'm struggling to get a straight answer are they 39mm or 41mm on diameter ? Cheers
  23. Seeing as half the people from my area have either sold up or blown up their cars, I'm going to be attending this months sheffield meet, if anyone fancies it from our region post below
