BlackBosh Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 No im not on about every time we drive past the ladies but whenever i start the car i can hear a rush of liquid travelling the length of the car, its still stationary when i hear this. Is it the fuel return line?
Gambit Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I'm not sure mate I'd say it was just the heaters moving fluid about but I'm sure it would sound from behind the dash :(
BlackBosh Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Ah that could be possible ill try listen again tomorrow better i only guessed at it being the length of the car, take it its normal to hear the coolant in the heater matrix then?
Scooby Pete Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Is it when you turn the ignition on. Or when you start the engine? If it just ignition then I'd say fuel lines. Can't see why water would start flowing round the heater matrix until the engine is running and the water pump working.
Miggs Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 my classic makes a gushing/water moving sound when it's first moved, it sounds to me like it's coming from behind the glove box, i assume it's just the water moving round the heater setup so never bothered me, everything works as it should
BlackBosh Posted January 29, 2014 Author Posted January 29, 2014 Ye its got to be this i was havjg a blonde moment, engine is running so def water, wouldnt be fuel lines as id hear it as soon as the pump primed. just a noisey car, tho it does rule out that lass that walked past the other day when i started it 2
LUIGI-3 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 mine does it too mate, when moving first few yards then goes away :)
