I was told by various people that it was too difficult and involved taking the ecu out, I was also told by various people that they did not have the software. Duncan and a gentlemen name Bob Rawle both offered to complete the remap and both came highly recommended in the end. Mr Rawle gave me some top rate advice on running the car and where to start on mods etc If i had the money I would go to Bob Rawle today but I don't so I will keep saving for the moment Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There will be just a couple of names floating about for the different regions. I was the same with Duncan. I spoke to him over the phone and he gave me a list and advice on where to start with. So I bought myself a 3 port boost solenoid and have my decat sat here waiting. Just need a fuel pump and panel filter then it'll be a case of save save save. Jamina Posted February 24, 2015 Author Share Posted February 24, 2015 I want 260-270 bhp, I don't need any more in reality, not at the moment anyway - looking for a growl to pi$$ off the neighbours (joking), No im looking for a as loud a growl I can get for my own personal preference without the hassle of decat, (not lucky enough to know an mot place that will just chuck it through) Just love the sound of a burble But yeah power wise I will be happy stage 1 - which is lucky really becuase it means that I don't have to do too much saving... I got the same figure in my head. Aiming for the 270 I'll be well chuffed. Even as mine stands at 211 it get lively when it can see the rain. My mate bought an astra vxr the weekend and I can keep up with that so can't be all bad. They run a 2.0 turbo but have 240bhp standard. JusNoGood Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Duncan remapped mine. I got 272bhp with Prodrive back box, Pipecross panel filter and fuel pump. The power improvement did make a difference but I think the biggest improvement was the smoothness.
