auldboy58
Hi guys, over the past week I've been to Fort William (for my sons wedding)then to the leadhills and a wee run on single track country roads, over 350 miles on various road types I've came to the conclusion that B.P. ultimate is the best choice of petrol for my xten regards mpg and performance, shell v power is better than ordinary unleaded, and for supermarket petrol that stuff gets nowhere near my car,so,has anybody else noticed a difference or am I thinking dearer is better. stants
Nope your right there, 95% of us use Shell vpower. Wierdly dogconker has had better results with regular Shell on his xv. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Scoobyghost
I use Tesco 99 momentum and swear by it. Can get 28mpg in my impreza. Makes good power too. (I know this is foz section) [emoji12]
Tidgy
shame it melted a piston cos it detted its **** off, but mpg for the win,,,,,,,,,, vpower and momentum isn;t used because it gives better mpg, its used because it has better ron value so smoother more predictable burn

Scoobyghost
Duncan mapped mine on momentum. It made good power and showed no signs of det. I'm not gonna argue with him [emoji23]

auldboy58
so,on average vpower seems to be the petrol of choice,I'll try a full tank of that and see what the results are for my car, cheers guys.
kfmotty88
I use super unleaded I'm not sure we have Shell or BP over Un northern Ireland and I find my car doesn't get many mpg. When I go back home to England though I'll have to give Shell and BP a go though
