Martin959 Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Hello guys! I have seen that on my scooby the temperature is below the middle mark, just wondering if this is normal or not... on my previous one i had it somehow a little bit down the middle but it was because i put a "sport" thermostat that opens 10 degrees before... by the way its a prodrive bugeye sti :D Cheers!!! :D
Martin959 Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Yup, just like that... even if i have been driving it for more than half an hour :D Thanks Sandals! :D 1
david1972 Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Looks spot on to meSent from my iphone using Tapatalk 1
stants Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 If concerned get yourself an app and Bluetooth/wi fi dongle or insyall a water temp gauge, the stock gauge on the scoob is pretty useless you've either cooked it or not, least you'll get an early warning of anything untoward with more accurate data Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk 1
Siluro Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 My Hawkeye WRX sits 1/2 way which is around 95 degrees coolant temperature using a dongle that stants suggests and Torque app on Android if that helps.
Jay762 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 That is fine - cant remeber what temp the valve opens up but I know on other jap motors it opens at 92
