Look good those Tom mate.

I'd picked these out a few weeks ago when toying with the idea - a full set fitted would only have been £240 fitted and they get some good reviews. Decided against it in the end as I haven't got the spare money at the minute.

Just gave mine a wash, used the good old two bucket method. Nice and clean again now, until tomorrow that is.

Could do with a pressure washer to wash off all that winter grime before hand though, but I dont have an outside tap.

Also saw the neighbour park up in his naf Nissan qwash quish,  only to start checking out my legacy lol.

Tom do you know some pressure washers will draw water from a bucket or a water butt.

oh aye, I looked at those mate. Can pick them up for 55 quid each in 215/45/17's, not too bad price wise. Looked at quite a few in this thread of Stants - http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/10525-winter-tyres/

The Nokian A3's have a C rating for economy so I'm thinking that might give me a few extra MPG. Atm I can squeeze about 400-450 miles from a full tank of vpower, a few more miles would be nice lol.

No I didnt know that mate, don't suppose you know any that do?

Most karchers can nowadays I believe Tom. Not sure if you need to buy a special attachment or not though

The Karcher demo's i've seen on qvc just put a hose in a water butt with a filter on the end to stop it sucking up crap.

Well we know what you watch late at night now [emoji3]

But yes, a lot of karchers will suck water up because most have a internal pump. Just check online you'll see which or the karcher website.

Ice??? Better not be any ice yet, I don't have my Subaru until later in the week

Update on the Subaru:

1. turbo specialist guy said the turbo is in very good condition for a 100k mile turbo ;). Quite a bit of place in the spindle so he's going to replace the bearings and make it good as new.

2. Up Pipe has 2 x 6" cracks near the turbo flange that could very well be causing my problems, got a De-Cat stainless pipe on the way :). This will get heat wrapped!

3. It's had part of the heat shield removed from the manifold as it was very rusted and falling apart, replaced with heat wrap.

4. Service with some nice oil has been carried out.

5. Prodrive Y-Pipe is being fitted.

6. 2 new coil packs have also been fitted.

7. Hopefully having some new speakers put in as well while it's in the garage :).

This Subaru is going to be a different car when I get it back I think!
