Gaulson
Now I've been looking around in my free time admiring turbos, fuel pumps and so on... thinking "If i just save this much I can do that..." while doing this I noticed this: http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=68&products_id=1403 I have been wanting a Boost Gauge so thought this was pretty good, any ideas? stants
Could probably get it cheaper elsewhere. & by buyimg the gauge and pod individually. I don't have this brand of gauge but plenty others do
Gaulson
Had a quick browse on eBay and found said boost gauge and a pod... Boost Gauge - £46 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Prosport-52mm-Super-Green-White-Turbo-Boost-Gauge-BAR-Stepper-Motor-Version-/371049935371?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item56644cb20b Pod - £33 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-52mm-Single-A-pillar-pod-New-Age-Impreza-/161054018204?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item257f914a9c So yeah it's cheaper to do it via eBay :)
Gambit
I went with the prosport evo gauges just because I like the start up display :D and read it's more accurate with it being digital, if it is or not I'm not sure. I know a few people who have them and like Stants said I would shop around I think you could price it up cheaper on Fleebay

hilli182
Fitted a new knock sensor over weekend ordering new maf today and reinstalled original air filter . Anybody else use impreza as everyday car? What millage to a tank are people getting ?
tje
I drive mine daily. It's a 2.0r sport hawkeye so no turbo. I was getting 280ish out if a tank of regular, but am getting more miles out of higher octane fuel. Gaulson
Not sure if mine is running well then, unless its my roads but I get about 270 to a tank... that's with fuel light just coming on. So might be 20 miles left in it I guess
Gambit
I use mine everyday. If I'm honest I just close my eyes when I look at the fuel I couldn't tell you what MPG I get :D I did have it on the OBDII reader once and did see I got it to 31.5 MPG driving very slow everywhere. and then I was booting it around private roads and had it almost to 11mpg
tje
I've not got it as low for the orange light to come on yet. Those miles are including some progressive/spirted drives Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk

hilli182
I've not done the maths for mpg but I run tesco 99 Ron in my classic turbo usually and get 200-250 a tank but I've read about faulty maf give bad mpg not sure how true this is though

Gaulson
My mpg on the way home wasn't that good as I had a race with a Honda Prelude from my village... he's faster! Didn't realise it was that quick, I was going all out on the straight and it was getting closer and closer lol. He flashed his hazzards and gave me a thumbs up when he turned off :) . Will ask him what he's running when I see him around
Dogconker
Averaged 62 mpg including a thrash home, car said I'd averaged 78 on the way out. [emoji41] Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
