Tested speakers and thank god I don't have to pull the head unit again, so one duff one only 8 months old so emailed manufacturer explaining how I don't have box or receipt and I'm disappointed in quality. They were only 40quid but hey.

So email comes back saying take to nearest stockist (halfrauds) with a print out of correspondence amd they'll change them no questions :-D

Thats what I call customer servive

I filled her up with a tank of 99 from Tesco. She how she gets on with that. Orange light had just come on and only managed to get 48 litres in it. Can't believe the orange lights either 2 or 12 litres. No idea how big the tank is :p

I know you're looking at Autoglym, but a lot on here inc myself use Maguire's. The synthetic wax is really good as is the tyre gel, the drying cloth is well worth it. The wax (about £26 a bottle) is good because you can wax it, and when you wash the next time just buff it with a Terry towel and it shines up again like its just been waxed. Can't do that generally with the Autoglym. Worth a look anyway

Meguairs all the way for me, except I use the autoglym super resin polish as it has the fillers in to help mask swirls and light scratches [emoji106]

You should try the ultimate wax from Maguire's my wife's car is nearly black and you get no swirls, it's really good stuff

It's worth looking into other products beside halfrauds stuff, Poorboys, dodo juice and Bilt Hamber all come to mind they are all professional brands used by detailers and are often cheaper and a much better product.

As my Halfrauds stuff runs out it will be replaced with Poorboys and Bilt Hamber products from around the net.

Been out for a great drive to the beach, had a walk and then drove home. Good couple of hours out enjoying the Sunshine as it's meant to rain for the next few days :(

might have to have a look at these, always used Maguiars and got really great results so always concerned I'll try something new and it'll disappoint and i'll have thrown money down the drain.

I've tried the Bilt Hammer wax after reading a load of great stuff about it, but to be honest I don't think it's anywhere near as good as the Meguiars stuff I've got. Doesn't last as long, doesn't leave as nice a shine and is much more difficult to apply and buff off.

Always found Auto Glym super resin polish to be brilliant too so not bothered using any others.

Do you have a wilkos near you ? They had poorboys stuff in one of he larger stores near me. Don't know if they were trying to get the brand in and keep regular stock though

Got a filthy car having been on a site in the mud and rain, got a cleaning job and a half this weekend. Still, popped into Halfords and bought a stock of Maguire's goodies to help with the clean.

Wife's taking my car to work tomorrow while hers is in the shop. She's taking my baby [emoji33]

Today I've mostly tortured myself on auto trader [emoji35]

And today I've continued in this vein, including ringing a garage that has a Forester 2.5XT for sale, then ringing the Subaru dealer that has serviced it all its life for the lowdown....

.....think this could get messy!  :o
