November 7, 201411 yr I've got the perfect solution, me and the wife are looking at it now. It's a 3d TV you can wear the glasses and earphones and you can watch different programmes on the same screen. Not split screen, but you actually see different things on the full screen, Works using active 3D glasses by flashing up alternate images and the glasses sync so each of you only sees the one you need, dead clever.
