July 13, 201411 yr Hi all, I've always been a vw person, mainly mk1 golfs with supercharged g40 engines, vr6 Mk2 golfs, etc and I needed a van for work and so got this Forester with intentions of putting mowers, strimmers and tools in the back but since buying it have fallen in love, I know its got an ej20 engine but the dude I got it from said it was 280 bhp but I'm not convinced, cananyone help me figure out what it is? July 14, 201411 yr Author Hope you guys can see these, its done millions of miles, runs sweet when up to temp but piston slap if its cold and on start up.. I want to find a low mileage engine to swap eventually
