quit Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 never knew they made these? SVA imports had one in ! Was looking for a white hawk 16-18k tho!!
Jay762 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I didnt know they did them either, I wonder if the turning circle is better than the saloon as you buy an estate for some form of practicality even if it is an evo
Rick 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I seen one in Manchester at the start of this year.I was taking the **** out of it and thought some body had just bolted an evo front end to it lol.Turns out there genuine lol
quit Posted September 13, 2014 Author Posted September 13, 2014 I love it !! White hawk sti or one these lol
stants Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Seen one before although this one looks like it's been lowered a bit arent they badged as evo gt or something ? Still having to service every 4.5k is enough to put me off. Last evo I rode in was bone jaringly harsh
Gambit Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Black one drives around near me he over took me the other day but when I came flying back up behind him he slowed down and didnt want to race after that.
majik_thighs Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Probably thought you were an un-marked Smokie
Gambit Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Bits of cv boot fling back at him [emoji14]
quit Posted September 13, 2014 Author Posted September 13, 2014 Yeah called a gt , that one is 360 bhp 4.5k service is once a year for me on that
Dogconker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 If I recall Nissan did something similar with the skyline in the late 90's, Stagea I think it was called, basically a skyline estate. Didn't know they made these estates as recently as that though, certainly never seen a mitsi one, obviously Subaru made them Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Dogconker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 To me those sort of cars just scream "mid life crisis, but still got 2 kids and a Labrador" Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
quit Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 when he purchased it about 2007 Rb25 lump!
quit Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 he then got bored and needed a better daily
Dogconker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Not sure what that is but it looks like a squashed Qashqai Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
stants Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Oi ! I bought mine for practical reasons, also the legnum v4 galant variant . To be fair who wouldn't want a straight six single or twin turbo wagon ?
quit Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 its a m35 stagea, only 3 in the country the blue one ended up like this before he sold it http://cmmoc.co.uk/forum/gallery/image.php?album_id=102&image_id=3642&view=no_count Ran about a 14 sec quarter mile, which is good beings the car is the size of a small house !
quit Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 i looked at a couple of legnum vr4's years ago, was put off being auto then i drove one last year and i loved it
Dogconker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Oi ! I bought mine for practical reasons, also the legnum v4 galant variant . To be fair who wouldn't want a straight six single or twin turbo wagon ? Just baiting, I actually quite like the Stagea [emoji38] Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
stants Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Potentially ruinous running costs though ! Seen a few r34 front end conversions &rb26 powered ones floating round the webs, cant stand autos mainily as I hate the old creeping you get with them, Suppose I'd have to get with the times eventually manuals will be a thing of the past
quit Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 YeH there is a r35 fronted m35 stagea in the uk
Dogconker Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I hate autos too, why every car I've owned has been manual. I imagine a good paddle shift gearbox would be fine, trouble is there's a lot of very dodgy slow ones. We'll all have paddle shift soon as you say. I looked at 2wd 2.5t skyline many years ago, but the running costs put me off so I built an Opel race car instead. That did 14sec quarter miles too but was cheap enough that I drive it to work daily (although uncomfortably). Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
