1. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C A cylinder misfire can be caused by lack of spark, lack of compression or imbalance in the air/fuel mixture. Lack of spark can be caused by worn or damaged spark plugs or Coil pack, lack of compression by a blown head gasket and imbalance in the air/fuel mixture by a faulty fuel injector, fuel pump or pressure regulator. It can ultimately be a number of things so further diagnosis would be necessary to find the cause, and assess the damage and repair cost. I would start with the cheaper options 1st I don't think it would be a head gasket I'm sure you would know yourself if that had gone. So would start with the spark plugs then work back to the coil pack. And have you cleared the codes for it to return before you start ripping it to bits :D Yes I speak from experience on that part ;)
2. So you should be, it look's great :) And they are spot on Martin and his mate I didn't get his name when I was there mind you spoke to about 3 or 4 people when I was there :D But their both spot on I keep meaning to buzz him about a full hub and bearing and cambelt kit job in the next few month on mine.
3. I've used two Road Runner now called Ride Runner <<< Legal issue not sure why ;) but I'm using Centrafuse now so much better and feel's more how it should do compared to Ride Runner
4. You did it and I agree great job looks great :D
5. All the above is to help baby sleep ;) I wouldn't want to put a price on it, it's not my car and I know I wouldn't be able to afford the price that I would have thought either. So sorry that will be up to you and what you think it's worth and can get for it. :D
6. I have to agree with you with the noise but I can live with it, it's not overly loud and have had a good coverage of all types of weather other than snow and never felt once like they was not suitable for the job or the car. So 2nd your comment :D
7. What App is that I have torque pro :)
8. Look's spot on be able to !Removed! now without any build up of back pressure ;) As for Dump Vales I know not for everyone but I think the HKS ssvq3 best on the market and sound more like a turbo chatter that people want most of the time than any other on the market. So for me Kudos to you :D
9. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Some quick light reading here MPG if you are to worried by this maybe not a good start to owning one but you can get a fair return if you keep off the happy :D pedal. I call it SPM (Smiles Per Miles :D ) with what you have said I would say the WRX would be ideal for you but the STI is the better car of the two I say that without wanting to take anything away from the WRX it's just as fun to drive, and is still a quick car. For Insurance I would try our insurance and get discount as a club member HERE, I found green light insurance was very good insurance quote too. I would have a look in the Subaru's for sales section some really nice car's get posted in there but for £5,000 you should be able to get a pretty nice car for that money either a classic or a newage :)
10. Can't go wrong with that. If you're about ready for changing diff oil gearbox oil or oil and filter. Nows the time :D
11. :( they do look very similar
12. I do from the window that's why I don't need the pictures ;)
13. So perfect trade to me mate. And good result with the tyres I guess they could have been !Removed! holes about that :(
14. Not again... Come on mate I've told you I've moved on I don't need more pictures of your legs.
15. Good choice :) Lot's of stopping power now Just don't put any racing discs and pads on. Not done it myself but heard some horror stories from people who have :) Unless it's a track day car only of course.
16. My missus doesn't drive, apart from me mad ;)
17. Congratulations. And don't know what you mean about a family car. It's got 4 doors it's a family car thats what I tell my Missus AWD for safer handling ;)
18. This is how Miggs drives want the womans fault at all ;)
19. We have a few members in the same boat so you're not on your own :( Saying that I remember wanting a car when I was younger I could get insured but it was nearly as much as the car was worth :( And don't discard the WRX not sure if that will be any cheaper on the insurance still a good fun car that can be tuned to your liking :D
20. Does sound great can't believe you want to sell it :(

22. Well hopefully in a years time we all will be seeing the new car with dump valve :D
23. That's all it is the scoop as long as it's from the same year it will fit fine. Not a fan of the large scoops myself but thats me :D I'd be a little bit more inclined to stick with the smaller one too so not to let to much water through but if it's been blanked off it would still work with the bigger scoop fine.
