The reason you'll not get the economy I'm getting us you didn't run it in. Ex demo cars will not have been run in quite as diligently as a car you own that has 20 odd miles on it. If you run a car in with fuel economy in mind you can improve the long term economy. That and drafting lorries up the M6 helps, improves your fuel economy by upto 30%. I generally drive super economical on the outward journey and then have a bit of a play on the way back. Keeps the DPF clean, you get to play and you still keep good economy.

I'll pop a short vid of mine on the way home yesterday through some tricky bends at pretty high speed. They're are surprisingly stable for a 1.4t vehicle with that ride height
