  1. I bet its boxter, the poor mans Porsche. That's the one all the midlife crisis blokes turn too. You know, roof down, Bald spot glistening in the sun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'll race him and I've only got 150bhp. I'll race him up a grassy hill
  3. Didn't touch mine today, it just sat on the drive in the sun looking all shiny. Off to North Wales tomorrow, with the sun should be a nice drive
  4. No that's fine don't worry, made it easier for me to pick up a couple of wins, think Gambit would agree
  5. I bet the chicks are eggstatic when they see it. I know, I'll go get my coat, sorry
  6. We managed one race and it got a little confusing. We gave up after that. I reckon it was because my mic was working, it just overloaded the system Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I was host but there was a connection somewhere kept dropping me out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. 9pm ok for me tonight, hopefully won't have the same problems we had last week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If you can't get at Halfords, main dealers are always able to get touch up kits in all the colours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Can't answer that not having an Impreza and certainly not an STi. You can work around it by getting a pencil with a rubber on, must be a new one. Use a hole punch on some fine grit cloth and superglue it to the rubber, makes for a handy little sander that you can use in tight places. Also good for stone chips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. If it's gone through the colour then you'll need to build it up and use 2 or 3000 grit paper to blend then use a clear coat to completely fill the scratch. If it's just the lacquer that's easier. Plenty of info on YouTube. Coloured scratch paste works quite well on light scratches. I've used Halfords paint pens before they're pretty good, get one with the needle as it's easier to place the paint precisely. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Washed, waxed, cleaned windows, interior. Cleaned and waxed wheels. Tyre gelled the tyres. All on 2 XV's, wife's dark grey one took the most time as you have to be perfect, you can be a little less careful with a white one. All this followed by a stiff back and achy arms. Off for a couple of beers (or 6) now as just found a load of Becks Vier cans in the fridge. Mmmmmmmm beer
  13. No idea what you're on about. Or maybe I snuck back into my post and corrected my predictive text anomaly
  14. I sat in my diesel yesterday at a set of lights which went from Two lanes to one. A Citroen Saxo pulled up with 3 lads revving the engine. I assumed they were going to try to beat me across the lights. Unfortunately they forgot the golden rule; subaru don't make many slow cars, even the diesel ones. I just pulled away whilst he sat there spinning and left him standing. He tried at 2 more sets of lights and after that just stayed behind me about 50yds back. Not sure why kids think because they've stuck on everything they can find in Halfords they think the car will be fast. And where the hell do they learn this idea that wheelspin is cool and makes you go faster. Unfortunately for them they made a huge deal about the fact they were going to blow me at the lights. You should never count you chickens too early Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. If he's not looking at you then you're not there. His problem solved
  16. Oh that's a shame on a nice afternoon, having to go for a drive, bet you're gutted
  17. Its actually quite sophisticated for the £24 it cost. You have a few options, you can either record in 10min segments (will also do 5 or 3 mins) and it will keep recording those segments until your memory is full. what I do is put it on cycle, it records 2 10 min segments and continuously overwrites them until it either detects an impact or you can press a button and lock the current segment and it'll start a new 10 min segment. but if you wanted to record a journey you'd just record unit memory full. I got mine from HERE they're actually £1 cheaper than when I bought it last week
  18. As promised I've uploaded a vid from my really cheapy cheap dash cam. At £24 its not cinematic quality but it will show who's fault an accident is when that Audi pulls out in front of you and you hit the back of him, or in the case of this video the "nice" lady in her Mitsubishi who decided she didn't need to look out of rather traffic. If you want one its dinky, I've mounted mine behind my rear view mirror. £24 from Amazon its an EPrance, comes from somewhere Eastern Europe Anyway here's the clip (1:10 is where the nice lady tried to damage my beloved Subaru)
  19. Well I'm on my way back, just parked under Umber Bridge avin me lunch. When in Rome . . . Will be glad to get home though and use my "H's" again
  20. Ever since I've had an iPhone can't imagine having anything else. Plus we've got bother stuff that is Apple. Used to have Nokias before as they were simple to use and virtually bombproof Think I'll be cleanings car as I got to go to Easington tomorrow so will probably get grubby ( and that's just driving through Hull)
