  3. do you see any voltage when checking with a multimeter on different places and if what's the voltage?

  5. this is normal with the UK installed alarm system, just get used to it
  6. agree with Mr B, shocks are shot. i had the same with my 2003 XS back in Australia. the only thing i wonder about is that you still can drive her and not feeling any sweeping from the back when driving over bumps at speed MOT here in the UK they don't have shock test ramps as in other countries. compared with some other countries the UK MOT is a joke IMHO
  7. what's the state of the fluid? if dirty replace it does the power steering pump making noise when turning the steering?
  8. if the piston rings aren't sealing engine oil comes through and also being partly burned causing a build up of carbon and piston rings getting stuck on the pistons. may be there is a factory error with the piston rings being used causing this? or, and now i'm getting into conspiracy theory ala "Alex Jones noise", they used Toyota piston rings? ;)
  9. yes, the moment you start changing suspension parts you will need to do alignment. it's always a good thing to check that every year anyway IMHO

  14. changed power steering fluid
  15. same for me with my previous diesels and included 300ml per full tank 2 stroke oil (cheapest you can buy)
  16. that's a big NO indeed, common rail diesels don't like that!
