  4. bugger and sorry to hear mate, next time you nail it when i did mine back in the 80s there was so much snow (was February) that the truck was slipping all over the shop so the examiner called it a day while i quiet injoyed it was rebooked 2 weeks later FOC and passed with flying colours :)

  6. have had a couple my self; L200 & Hilux. they are workhorses and may be better for the job you do? but they will drive like trucks (as they are) and are bigger. i did found that the tub by times wasn't that practical as they are actually not that big. especially when transporting long things. me with a Ranger
  7. yep, yep, costs; as copper is more expensive then metal in most cars these braided ground straps are way to small and putting more strain on the battery. it's a good mod to change them for thicker and better ones
  8. B) video at 0:37 the turbo goes in an industrial hot wash parts washer from Safety Kleen. i serviced those machines when working at Safety Kleen years back :) at the depot we cleaned BBQ racks in them
  9. indeed, plane stupid to compare a low Impreza with a Citroen what has hydraulic suspension so you can change the ground clearance in 3 settings; low, normal and high. but he, it looks like a bunch of brainless folk anyway

  11. comes about 20 years after some other countries... never understand why to have some stupid paper on your windscreen to show tax paid since a simple check of your licence plate should come up with all details needed; insured?, tax paid?, MOT done?, owner?...

  16. no idea as they were already fitted when i bought her back in Australia my03 Forester XS had SLS but changed them to normal struts from Ultima (Australian brand) as one SLS was shot. previous owner used her lots in the Outback :o
  17. it's my second Forester and still get a :) every time driving her...
  18. good luck with your Pedders make over, mine does have Pedders too on the rear when i bought her
  19. why not temporary install the cam behind the car while driving around
