  1. I bought mine a few years ago, but it's 3" cat back, with straight through centre and the only silencer is the back box. Give them a ring and see if they have a 3" centre section
  2. Mine has a straight through Centre pipe too. The size depends on power you want, upto 400bhp there's not much difference, but if you eventually want over 400bhp, you will be better off getting the 3" I've never heard the 2.5 so I can't comment on sound or volume Personally, I would return it and get the 3" system
  3. PCD Is pitch circle diameter, 100 is the diameter to the center of the studs and 5 is how many studs, if you Google it there will be some diagrams
  4. I've had Norton for a couple of years, then in march I went for mcaffe, what a pile of poo. it made all laptops and phones run really slow, help line was shocking, so binned it and went back to Norton.
  5. just clicked on link and Norton said it's unsafe
  6. theres still a couple of places available if you want to join us
  7. an original spoiler or scoop should come with screws and fittings, but non genuine stuff probably won't I used to have an aftermarket boot spoiler (hollow fibreglass), it ended up getting cracks in it and filled up with water, ended up paying for a genuine one anyway (fibreglass with rigid foam inside) are you happy to drill extra holes in your boot lid to get extra fixings??? if you are looking at blobeye sti alloys, be careful with the PCD. the 05 reg onwards has a different PCD and won't fit. all up to 05 reg were 100x5, 05 sti onwards is 114.3x5 put a pic up of the ones you like and I'm sure someone will be able to point you towards some very similar and a lot cheaper
  8. gutted its so annoying, FFS why can't they just be careful when they are getting out hope you can get it sorted
  9. welcome to the club personally, I would only go for a genuine blobeye spoiler (vertical, not slanted) £300 painted is a good price. 2nd hand they are usually £300, then it would probably need respraying as well. if you can buy one already attached it would be easier. the low level is held on with 4 bolts, but the sti has about 20! try to get the stronger spring bars too to stop the boot slamming shut you can get facia covers and a little cubby hole will fit in the gap too bigger scoops can be bought on ebay for about £60, but will need painting as well
  10. Come on people, this is tomorrow. Look at the weather forecast too, nice and warm, not too sunny
  11. Can't believe they charge extra for floor mats, robbing twats
  12. I spent an hour sorting out my gazebo for tomorrow, then 7 hours washing my car. Wash with auto glym shampoo, clay bar, meguires paint cleanser, auto glym super resin polish, auto glym extra gloss protection. And now it's beer o'clock
  13. Nick, that looks nice and shiney [emoji106] Those welds are perfect, it shows it's well made Looks like they have made them straighter, mine too some serious persuasion to stop it hitting the rear diff
  14. I saw the life of Brian, I thought it was rubbish!
  15. flippin eck, that was close what a nob
  16. that Scooby looks terrible
  17. playing devils advocate - you have moved over here - you might have had loads of crashes that they won't be able to check London - one of the most expensive places to get insurance, not meaning writing off your car, but if you crash how much damage could you do to someone else's car???? car history - have you had experience with fast cars? while you were in the USA you might have been driving powerful cars (hint, hint), your weekend car might have been a dodge viper or Camaro v8 for all they know sometimes you can get cheaper quotes for modified cars. my renewal for a std 225bhp blobeye was £900, for a modified one with 330bhp it was only £800
  18. one of my all time favourite jokes..... I squat down, put my head between my knees and fall forward, That's how I roll
  19. When my mum was in labour, my head got stuck in her !Removed! and the midwife had to pull me out. That's how excited I was to see my little brother
  20. no probs you might be ok with a std centre section and just with a turbo back box, it will sound better but you won't get the Subaru burble (the turbo has unequal length headers, n/a has equal length)
  21. a lad I know does detailing for a living, he charges £45 for 2 hours. he did my last car and the difference was amazing, I haven't got the patience to spend 2 hours leaning into an engine bay with a tooth brush
