Car insurance joys and questions
I notice you are in the army, i was and found that when the cars was registered on the insurance as staying on camp overnight reduced my premiums. How long is left on your policy? Would it not be cheaper in the long run to finish the year on your current policy n collect the years no claims?

Test fitting Legacy MESH Grille
HI, thanks for the message. I'm not keen on the chrome style thing either. You got any pictures of yours? pictures paint a thousand words n all that. No its not a "standard" Legacy part, however, it is a genuine subaru grille. I think the legacy grilles have different fittings depending on the exact model. I bought this of another legacy owner as it didn't his 3ltr legacy estate. But it fits my 2.0R, however I don't think it fits normal 2.0 models. I'd certainly check which over one you buy that it will fit before you part with any cash. I think I was lucky, other than it needing painting. I'm afraid I'd have no idea if it would fit an outback. You could try a mean stealer, I think SG petch might be some use? - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories Not sure what model outback you have but, this may be of use? 2004 -2009 - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=310/category=ROOT-exterior/accessory=Front+Mesh+Grille/id=8766 2008 -2010 - http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=309/category=ROOT-exterior/accessory=Front+Mesh+Grille/id=8766

New tyre time need advise,
My next tyres are going to be a set of Hankook Ventus Prime 2 K115's. http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/hankook/ventus-prime2-k115/215/45/R17/W/91/f?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d215%26profile%3d45%26rim%3d17%26speed%3dAny%26viewmanufacturer%3dhankook&tyre=27530048 Looks like they have pretty good efficiency and breaking performance.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Seen a few bad drivers today. Had some knobber in a focus st right up my !Removed! earlier, so close i could barely see his grill. I just ignored the ****** and his !Removed! car. he overtook me as i pulled off a roundabout, then he cut infront of me, sped up off and nearly killed a cyclist. Also had a knob pull out of a junction on me, whilst blatantly on his talking on his phone, not paying any attention. If you have a dashcam, can you pass on the footage to the feds? oh and i put 65 quids worth of vpower in :)

I drove to Asda in mine. I'm thinking about getting a little dashcam, something relatively cheap, small and discrete. Oh and that allows me to use a micro SD card (or non micro).

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Just washed and waxed mine :) yay fun afternoon. If anyone is on the look out for some "shampoo", I use Autoglym shampoo (clicky) Hand wash it with the correct two bucket method, then dry it with a decent microfibre. I use an autoglym one, (Clicky) Just shines, no streaks at all! Then, polish and buff off then wax and wax off. Or just wax on and off :) Anyone tried the Autofiness range? I use their citrus power and Iron X remover, both decent products worth using.

2014 impreza exact release date?
David, I dunno which stealer you are going to, but you could try the stealer in Middlesbrough, along the A66. Although, i think hes a skoda garage too. Whilst, he doesn't have a great deal of Scoobs, I know he has a BRZ so i would imagine he may get in an impreza 2014.
