  1. Tbh I think I could do better because I think my MAF is slowly dying on me which "hopefully" is making it use more fuel
  2. In my WRX I get around 280 out of a tank and that's my country lane driving to and from work. Not thrashing but there are a lot of corners to slow down for then straights to get the speed up on. I got 310 with one tank, had a long run at some point. Boost gauge and pod arrived today.... excited to get it fitted :P
  3. It's global stanton! http://www.geocaching.com/ You found time to wash and wax James? It's been horrible up north lol. Was lucky enough to get a break in the weather to go out for a walk
  4. Geocaching is in it's simplest form... a treasurehunt. You get a location and a clue then go find this "cache" which usually contains a log book to sign. You sign it and put it back where you found it. Just a bit of fun really :) . excited for next week, boost gauge arrives! Hell yeah :P
  5. Fitted the new reflectors, indicators and tax disc holder :) . Also started Geocaching!
  6. Okay, managed to get a slight break with the weather and couldn't wait any longer so here we go. Before with the lovely orange side indicators and reflectors: Then after, with the smoked side indicators (still need clear bulbs that flash orange) and carbon wrapped reflectors: I think they look pretty smart, much better than I thought they would look! One thing I learnt when wrapping them is that heat really is your friend, miles easier once you start giving the wrap a bit of heat. Oh yeah before I forget, put this in last night... Much better than the other rubbish one that was in that took up half the windscreen, put up a fight as well. Left loads of sticky residue on the screen but luckily we use some bad **** cleaner at work. A quick spray of that and some good hand action ( ;) ) it came right off! There are still more things to go on, just waiting for my brother in law to have some free time...
  7. As some of you may be aware I bought these: They are wrong for my car due to there being bulb holders in them. Mine are just blank reflectors so these would look wrong, I was going to send them back on Monday but then remembered I have some Carbon wrap laying around. So I had a quick go at doing one... Think it looks pretty good, so I did the other... Now I just need to wait for it to stop raining so I can go out and put them on the car!
  8. Well, reflectors arrived but I didn't realise they also hold bulbs?? So they are of no use to me :( . Thinking about having black ones so will probably go for them
  9. Now you will find out it's not actually thrown up a code and will keep you puzzled forever more ;)
  10. First parts have arrived... so far so good :P

I will aim for between Half 8 and 9 then :) . Very good twisty road ;)

Yeah fine with me as well, I don't mind finding my way to there. Next to the main road and food, good find!
  13. Ouch that's a big bill Dave :( . Especially after such a hefty MOT as well. Hopefully you don't get anymore problems with it. Haha, that's brilliant dog!! I could go to my local town, Lancaster, they have a speed camera on a hill set at 20mph! Easy to set off ;) . Can then make some reg plates of people I don't like....
  14. Thought I would try and break the 30mph speed limit tonight..... on my bike lol. Due to weather conditions (drizzle and windy) I failed, hit 26mph. This is all part of my new fitness routine, biking morning and night. Tomorrow I will try again.... it CAN be done! :P Most of my parts will be here Friday, may get to fit some at the weekend. Also after some research it could be the MAF causing my problems of hesitation and misfire :(

I will be skipping breakfast because of the distance i'm travelling but I WILL be there :P

Ripon would probably be better as it's closer to the destination, so less chance to lose anyone along the way :P
  17. Some stuff ordered for the car so will be having another project day in a week or 2... updates will be coming
  18. http://www.game.co.uk/en/forza-horizon-2-301032?pageSize=20&catGroupId=&categoryIdentifier=641168&pageNumber=2&sortBy=MOST_POPULAR_DESC It's on Game ready to preorder
  19. Well if Forza Horizon 2 is anything like the first one it will be awesome and well worth getting :P
  20. I think I'm safe but might be speaking too soon as E3 is next week, bit excited about it like ;)
  21. Ordered stuff for the Subaru, £190 of little bits to put on the car including a boost gauge! Happy days :) . That's my spending money gone for this month though :(
  22. Got one of them, won't reach the bolt I'm after I don't believe. My brother is away for a week so I'm going to collect parts for my car then pester him to help fit them when he gets back ;) Well not my Subaru but wish it was.... been blessed with this picture He averaged 116.40mph! Not bad Mr Higgins :P Previous run in 2011 averaged 115.356mph.
  23. Tried to get my heatshield off that covers the actuator... nut would not move no matter what was done to it, in the end the nut rounded off so going to have to file it down to fit a smaller size. So I congratulate you on your success B)
  24. It involved the boost gauge, pod, engine dress up, crystal side reflectors and crystal smoked indicators
  25. Built up a shopping list of things for the Subaru that came to £250.... hovered over the "Pay now" button then closed the browser. Will probably order it on friday night so it all arrives next week :P
