  1. Hiya Gambit, You don't have one for a 2004 Blob WRX do you?...please :)
  2. I think we need to see so pics Pete :)
  3. I had a 2001 bugeye when my daughter was 0-7 and had no problems with pram and family holidays. I suggest you go and see a few and decide for yourself.
  4. So beautifully put :P
  5. Yea, thats too far mate. Shame. The second photo was of the other side of the plastic trim...just to show you theres no fixings. If you are happy with that I'll PM you my BT details and you can sent me your address. Once the money is clear I'll send the part - i guess Tuesday now.
  6. Where abouts are you mate? Here's a pic of the otherside. As I said no fixings so you need to get them We can do bank transfer? But let me know where you are as I do travel.
  7. Just can't get my head around giving The Government £500 road tax a year for a Hawk.
  8. yea and I think I was the dude you mentioned before asking for the part ;)
  9. Especially if the number is Nigerian :D
  10. Mate the work you do here means you get first dibs.
  11. Should have said. If you pick it up you can have it for free :)
  12. I'd love it Andy. I have a 04 WRX. Where are you in the country? pS your choice but I'd suggest you remove your mobile num, get some loons on the web ;)
  13. I've done that. FSH was 3 stamps in 10 years! Or rebuilt engine that was being driven around with no oil. I bought a WRX recently and did quite a few 150+ mile round trips. I decided to do weekends away in premier inns to look at cars in other part of the country. South Wales, Cheshire/midlands looked like two very good areas with a higher than usual number of low mileage Imprezas. I used google custom map to plot all the scoobies for sale (yawn) Good luck with your hunting.
  14. I can't really tell from the pics what is missing. From the description it sounds like I have the part. See picture below. I bought both sides for a tenner from a breaker. so if it's the right part I'm happy post it to you for a fiver if it's the right part or you can pick up from Reigate. I'm not doing it for the money and it'll be more hassle than its worth but happy to do it for a fellow Subaru owner. I'm selling cheap as a favour so I won't take returns, no offence meant but some can be odd :) The part doesn't come with the fixing screws but i think you can get them from Subaru Here's a pic... It fit my 2004 WRX, I had two holes up from the rear skirt near the rim of the wheel arch
  15. I went round to a friendly tire fitter and used his car lift...wire brushed and painted 5/8 of the underside with waxoil paint...just sooo much easier using a car lift. heaven. then replaced my cracked foglight
  16. I'd also suggest saving your fuel receipts. Would impress anyone in the know to see high Ron has been used for a few years. Ps you do get better MPG from higher RON so I wouldn't worry too much about the cost, kinda levels out...kinda
  17. So far I've asked all the breakers on the subaru forums and searched ebay and just a general google search. There was one being sold from Latvia....but I think that may fall into the category Jonny mentioned, i.e. dodgy copy that won't fit/work properly.
  18. Well thanks for the warning. I'll let you know if i find anything. Might just superglue the one I have them :)
  19. HI folks I hope someone can help me...My passenger side Fog on my 2004 UK Blob WRX is quite badly cracked. I'm really struggling to find a replacement. I've talked to Halfords and quite a few breakers but no-one seems to have one :( Does anyone know where I can get one? Regards Jus.
  20. My friend has a skyline with cats removed. He goes into the mot station and tells them it doesn't have a cat and if they tell him he needs one he'll remove it straight after testing anyway so what's the point? He's not had any problems for years and has moved around.
  21. I'm just interested to understand what is causing the insurance to be so high. Is it your age, lack of NCD or the mod on your car do you think? I'm currently paying £225 for a bog standard WRX and I'm kind of getting interested in the Mod scene but am a bit scared of what it can do to my insurance.
  22. Will do mate. I'm not mates with him or anything but will suggest it. He has some great cars for breaking
  23. Can you give us some more info Smiler? How much have you got to spend, what year/model are you interested in and where are you? I came to the conclusion I'd have to do a few weekends away to find my car. I had one planned to Bristol/South Wales as there seems to be a lot there. If I got no luck there then I was going to have a weekend away to Birmingham/Liverpool....but in the end I found one nice and local, around 70 miles from home :)
