  1. I'll go if we are going to make a group appearance, I went back in 2014 2weeks after I first got my scooby
  2. best to get them spots when they are young and still reversible! I keep checking my arches routinely through the winters then rework them round this time if they need a bit of love. Going to get it fully undersealed this summer too to prevent any further deterioration.
  3. dirty derv
  4. I carefully dremeled the the paint back on the inner side of the arches where ever the paint was looking tired then used smooth hammerite paint to re-coat them.
  5. Given my rear arches some protective love today as my biggest fear is ever letting rust eat any of the bodywork
  6. I think for the hatch wrx's you would need some additional parts from an sti http://www.scoobyparts.com/performance/gfb-tuning-products/gfb-respons-tms-bov
  7. Washed my car yesterday after wiring in a new dashcam then my gf bought me the best easter egg ever... scooby dooby doo!
  8. heard reports that they aren't very well sealed so if you buy them it's definitely worth pulling them apart and resealing them yourself with some new silicone
  9. she's a beaut
  10. sounds like a sticky caliper or handbrake had a similar noise from the rear on mine after it was left sat for a few weeks without driving and after a few good drives with lots of braking it sorted itself out and is smooth again bit yours could be different but it does sound the same as what I had
  11. Mine has one too but need to validate that it is still active
  12. That's so good but then again I disclosed a massive list of mods for mine which are covered in the policy with full comp drive anycar and a few other nice perks, +1 for adrian flux for mods otherwise I was with admiral who were also good and accepted basic mods
  13. Hudson replied to Rps's topic in General Subaru Chat
I have 18x9.5j et38's and they poke out a little bit but not much, like them as they are, would have to put on 20mm spacers if I was to go down the arch extension route which I have considered but then there is no going back...
  14. I just joined adrianflux for the first time as well, basically same price as previous insurer but covers the mods and their cost. Really nice on the phone and understood exactly what I was talking about with the modifications where as admiral had no idea. I got a bit of discount for mentioning being a member here and also using an approved dash cam.
  15. I just tried to renew my policy with admiral but tried to declare some new modifications that will be going on in may and they said they wouldn't cover it so gone with adrianflux instead as they offered to cover everything and more including the cost of the mods themselves too
  16. Just scrapped admiral as my insurance although they were good to start with and low price for basic mods but just opened up a new policy with adrian flux as trying to describe some modifications with admiral they had no clue what they were and I ended laughing over the phone with the lady describing what they were but at the end of the day admiral don't cover the cost of any of the mods while adrian flux knew exactly what I was talking about and covered everything including future modifications that I told them would be going on.
  17. Unwrapped some shiny exhaust bits
  18. yes it is also up for grabs left that off the list by accident!
  19. When you make an offer on ebay for a part you want and don't expect to be given it at that price then it gets accepted... need to figure out an excuse for when it arrives now

  22. This is giving me nightmares from when a primer paint aerosol burst in my boot, nitromors for the hard plastic and foam lifter/stiff plastic brush or wire bursh to get it off the carpet
  23. where's the snow at, I'm there!
  24. I have no doubt they will take some tinkering and some trial and error till the car sits right on them and be happy with the setup and alignment on them but that's the fun in it for me and part of the learning process :)
