  1. Anyone have a bass box with built in amp? My current one is starting to die! Nothing bigger than 12" please... (that's what she said) single woofer so it doesn't take up too much space in my boot. Nothing crazy expensive either, I can get a new Edge one from Halfords for 90 quid, so not looking to spend more than 50 delivered.
  2. Yeh it's pretty straight forward. Your rear diff will have two plugs on the back of it, a fill and a drain hole (make sure to crack the fill hole first) this takes around 1 litre of oil. Gearbox has a drain plug on the bottom and filling it is done via the dipstick hole underneath your intercooler (assuming you have the turbo model). 5 speed box takes around 3.5 litres to fill, more for a 6 speed.
  3. 50 quid delivered from scooby world. Feel super high quality and it's a great sign when nothing chips off them when i installed them... unlike the ebay jobbies :D http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=314_315&products_id=2158
  4. The coil packs that or on the new age are very good. Why are you wanting to change them?
  5. The fluid might need a top up as well...
  6. Fitted new Muteki japanese wheel nuts as my cheap ebay jobs were becoming badly rusted (only bought to see how black wheel nuts would look with my gold wheels, lasted a year)... so much so that the key wouldn't go in one of them, nothing that a hammer couldn't sort!!
  7. The service book is probably used for various models... which is why it will say that. The cambelt/timing chains are generally behind covers so you can't see them
  8. Ah yeh, blitz nur spec come as back box and centre section... so would def have been wrong length if it was for a classic
  9. May have been part of a full set? Not sure... I know I sold my old back box on here to a member with a classic and it fit no problem
  10. Welcome to the club! Good choice for both car and colour! :D
  11. They are both the same length in total, but classics have different length downpipes and centre sections. If you're just getting a back box, both classic and newage are exactly the same length, only difference is the 3rd hanger points the wrong way. Which isn't a big deal as aftermarket back boxes are pretty light anyway so not overly necessary.
  12. No but I can certainly take more
  13. Oh wow, didn't realise that's what you said XD
  14. Yeh, they were advertised as no need to drill holes or take the wheels off! Well... didn't have to drill holes but there was no danger of being able to screw straight into the plastic with the wheel in the way! I'm glad it's over....
  15. Just paint over it with some black paint!
  16. Got to love a good set of flaps....
  17. What a ball ache that was... over two hours later and finally done!
  18. Boost leaks perhaps? Double checked all your connections?
  19. Yeh I think I'll just keep them and screw them into the plastic... I have no intention on taking them off again and can't be bothered with the hassle of sending them back. Just a bit disappointed that the advert states that no drilling is required. Made me think that it uses existing holes. Also lol at the swear filter removing the word scre wing XD
  20. Well here's the response from Scooby World: Hi, There is no mount for the hole in the bottom of the mudflap. Instead we provide a self tapping screw to fasten it to the plastic of the wheel arch. If you refer to the instructions that may explain it better than myself. You should be able to screw it in by hand with a screwdriver, a drill isn’t needed. a drill isn't needed coz apparently you need to screw straight into the plastic of the bumper... here are the in depth instructions Do you have to do any drilling or any !Removed! into plastic with the rally flaps?
  21. According to the instructions... nope, but now you've made me think it would fit the wrong way around. Edit: Just checked, even looking at swapping them round... it's a no go.
  22. Yeh, wasn't that the reason they dismissed an 80mph limit a year or two ago?
