  1. Just read an article where a family are suing Apple because a collision was caused by a clown using Facetime which resulted in the death of a child. Some people are too infatuated with technology... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-38496174
  2. Nah mate, i'm working night shift... along with christmas eve and christmas day.... :/
  3. If you can change the spark plugs in a subaru... you can change them in any car! Great result
  4. I didn't think "too big" was in your vocab Tidgy... considering you have an intercooler the size of a surfboard!
  5. Changing the plugs isn't difficult... just a bit of a faff, need to remove the airbox on the drivers side and the washer bottle on the passenger side... once that's done they are easy enough to access
  6. If it's just a cat back it's dead easy to do yourself, only a few bolts. No clamps or cutting required. Just make sure to use new gaskets, you will need a cone gasket to go between the last cat and the centre section, genuine ones can be had from import car parts for not a lot of money
  7. Haha! It could just be a coloured bulb or some coloured paper which should be easy enough to change, but can totally understand if you don't want to open them :D
  8. Fantastic news! I was half expecting this thread to be a long one with a big fight!
  9. Depends on how big you go. @aucky has a WRX hatch with a bigger turbo, front mount intercooler and I'm assuming bigger injectors(?) and he's running 320bhp no problem. Obviously more power and boost etc you run, more than likely increasing the risk of something breaking internally. It really seems to be your luck with the 2.5 block... you may have no issues with it at all.
  10. Drop in panel filter fuel pump exhaust remap Usual power mods that people do who are not looking to go down the changing turbo and injectors route
  11. Feel brave enough to open them up? :D
  12. Seem to have generally good feedback... would maybe ask if they do/have done a lot of subarus https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/quantumtuning.co.uk http://www.quantumtuning.co.uk/
  13. They stick it on a rolling road and reprogram the ECU while keeping an eye on AFR, boost, timing etc to get the best performance that your car can handle safely
  14. Oooft... 41k and the motor is gone?? Sorry to hear that... hopefully the garage help you out!!
  15. Welcome to the club! Lovely looking motor... what sort of power is it making?
  16. Ah ok... you're one of the few people who use them! Could always buy the fog lamp covers, then swap them back during the winter/foggy months? They simply clip in so only takes a minute to change
  17. Front fog lamps are generally redundant anyway... I use mine maybe once or twice a year? Even then they don't make a great deal of difference!
  18. These? http://www.vehicleclips.co.uk/subaru-plastic-bumper-trim-clips-rivet-clips-fasteners-bonnet-grille-etc.html?gclid=CO3zhfL489ACFe-97QoderQBRA#237=10
  19. I personally use Millers 10w 40... quite a popular choice and very good quality.
  20. Front splitter looks good http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=40_64_400&products_id=689
  21. Drop in panel filters are just that... no adjustment needed!
  22. That torque figure! That's baws oot the ar-se torque!
  23. 2004 Blob WRX STI top mount Standard TD04 turbo Cosworth panel filter Decat up-pipe and centre pipe, prodrive sports cat downpipe Walbro 255lph fuel pump Figures are at the wheels
  24. A hit with the ladies i'm sure
