  1. Used Infinity Wax's dark wax for the first time today... was a bit of a sceptic when it came to the "active scratch fillers" but it blew me away how good a job it did at hiding my many little surface scratches, the joys of having a black car!! Do love a mirror finish tho... :D
  2. Non-resonated centre section and a big back box and you will be heard :D
  3. Yeh my wheel bearing started going after I drove a few miles with a caliper siezed on... it's due a service anyway so I'll get my garage ti change it! It's been whining for over a year so can't wait to get rid of the noise!
  4. I daily mine. See over 300 miles to a tank, don't have a resonator and have got a 4.5" afterburner backbox. All standard cats removed and have a sports cat downpipe. It's pretty loud but not stupid... can easily have a conversation with the Mrs. Can even hear my wheel bearing is getting worse... must be really bad if I can hear it quite clearly!
  5. Mine is due in May, will be interesting to see what my renewal with Flux will be!
  6. I run my speakers off the head unit and it's plenty loud! I would maybe wait and see what your new headunit is like...
  7. The back seats are just two lumps of foam... fairly sure my sunday dinner is heavier than them!
  8. No but i could do with shedding some weight elsewhere in the car to balance it out XD
  9. It's not that the exhaust is too loud... it's just her hearing is too good
  10. Forgot to put this pic up... old vs new XD
  11. Not overly difficult as long as you have a set of flare spanners! Just need to bear in mind you will need to bleed your entire brake system afterwards
  12. How big is your box?!? (I'm hoping you're a bloke... don't think a female would appreciate that kind of question)
  13. In my defense... the advert didn't state a size so I figured it would be no bigger than 12" (like my old one)... nope... 15". 60 quid delivered...
  14. +1 to this You can get good quality tyres for around 80-100 quid a corner.
  15. There's enough...
  16. Fitted this monstrosity...
  17. While you're at it, would seriously consider getting some braided brake lines... significant upgrade over the rubber hoses and only cost around 70 quid for a set of 4
  18. Nah... I really don't understand how this could've been posted and still made some money. It was buy it now at 50 quid plus a tenner for posting, it weighs 30kg+!! Obviously it had been sitting in his garage for years coz it was filthy, the amp had years worth of filth in between the heatsink fins. Half an hour of work and it looks decent now. Seller obviously just wanted shot of it! Going to install it shortly... :D
  19. So yeh... I maybe should've confirmed the size of the sub before I bought it... I thot it was a 12"... nope... 15" dawg. Came with an amp as well... all for 60 quid delivered
  20. Welcome to the club! Once you experience boost you will never go back to VTEC :D
  21. Not with a WRX, that will be the most out of the standard turbo and injectors
  22. A pretty good list of mods. If the service book shows it has been well maintained and the body work is in good condition, good be a very good purchase!
  23. 2nd the flux, with my mods i got fully comp for just under 400 quid
  24. Looking good!
  25. I'm running a GFB adjustable (altho running on 100% atmo) and it's really good. High quality, adjustable spring and makes a nice PHHHSSSSSST noise :D http://www.scoobyparts.com/performance/gfb-tuning-products
