  1. You may find that they have a lot of work in and can't be arsed to spend 7 hours doing a recall and then spend more time filling out the claim forms... Best of luck anyway- hope your wait is substantially shorter than mine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No idea, I didn't ask- at lexus we have an airbag recall on the SC's and if one needs it we just order the part in and it comes next day, no matter how many there are that need it :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm in Cheltenham- the worst thing is I went in to get my key coded and ECU updated (to cure the flatspots the 2.0r's suffer from) and I was told I have to wait a week until their qualified subaru tech was in [emoji23] Pretty poor considering they're an official dealership imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Found out the other day mine needs this recall- I have to wait until JUNE! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Good to hear you got it sorted! Apologies for my reply scoobyghost, for some reason in my dozey state I thought you were the OP [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm in Cheltenham, there isn't really any subaru specialist here since powerstation in Tewksbury went out of business... I'm a technician so normally do work to my car myself though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It all depends where you go mate- at a main dealer you're looking more than that, backstreet garage that price sounds about right! If you don't mind getting dirty and have a couple of axle stands, you could easily save yourself most of that and do it yourself! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry mate i've just realised they're off an STI- won't fit my car! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm in the UK buddy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm after a few bits pal, both front wheel arch liners, engine undertray, and depending on colour and price, front bumper including the 3 grilles and headlight jets, also after a set of standard wheels to slap winter tyres on- again depends on price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Awesome! Well i'm definitely in :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I don't think there is a castle combe one this year gambit- says on their website 'Moving to Silverstone gives us the opportunity to make the event you love ever bigger and better in 2016 and beyond.' Will deffo chuck in a couple of quid for another flag! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hi all, Just thought i'd share this as I think we should get in early this year to avoid disappointment again: Looks like it's a bit different this year as they've moved it to silverstone, and it's also a 2-day show! I also remember gambit mentioning getting some soc flags and i'm happy to chip in for one if other people are :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Working on and driving lexuses on a daily basis, some features are handy- eg the auto wipers are good so you don't have to keep turning them on and off and adjusting speed when the rain slows down or speeds up- obviously we can do it but it's a lot nicer not having to! I agree though the fogs on indication are accidents waiting to happen... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hi all, I recently bought some leather seats from a wrx sl for my hawk, but am now struggling to wire them in. When I bought the seats I also got the switches for the heaters as I wanted it to all look OEM. The only problem is, I have no idea which pins do what on the seats and switches. Each have four pins- one a live and one a ground presumably but I don't know which is which and what the other two pins are for... If anyone has experience with this i'd be very grateful! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Just thought i'd post some pics of my black interior conversion because why not! I went for the leather interior from a wrx sl (£250-front seats are heated so a bonus there!), for the roof and pillars I went for some fabric from a fabric shop (about £30 all in) and black paint, primer and laquer for all the grey plastic trim (£15). Before: During: After: Still got to try and find a paint durable enough for the seatbelt 'tops' on the B pillars and moving parts on the sun visors, as well as find an upholsterer for the door cards and sun visors... 17. Thanks so much lads- picture was bob on- managed to find a 10mm nut and bolt to stick in to get me home- works perfectly! Another win for SOC! Strange though- never heard of one of these pins popping out before- especially as my car's only just hit 50k! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Cheers mate, much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Tried pal yeah, can't see it at all, from above or beneath- literally will not go into any other gear and can hear it clattering around inside the box Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi all, Currently stranded in Nottingham with the scoob stuck in 3rd- was just driving along normally and gearstick went all floppy- gear linkage has come off but I can't see where! Has anyone had this before or know how to do a quick fix to get me home on Friday or how much it would cost in a garage? Cheers in advance guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Missus bought me a tshirt from mufflebox and they sent me an invitation note and 2x soc stickers- joined, liked how friendly everyone is on here and whacked the stickers straight on my car :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Cheers for the responses guys! I shall be giving them a try then :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hi all, dies anyone have experience with HEL braided hoses? I am going to be converting to WRX rear 2-pots soon and as the calipers will be off anyway, I thought i'd upgrade to braided lines. HEL seem to be cheaper than others, but MCM use them so unsure if the low price means low quality... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Aucky recommended me this from scoobyworld: http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2155 Comes with software key for OBDWiz, and I have to say it works brilliantly- software is easy to use, and for £30 couldn't ask for more! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. If it's the same as an impreza manual the quantities will be in the rear of the manual with all the other specs... Rear diff is usually fill till it spills so don't need to know the exact quantity for that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
