  1. Awesome thanks Jay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I had a look, it only had the offset, rim size and make... i'll have a look again tomorrow to double check though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hi again all, I have been offered a set of four of these wheels (for a rather good price!) by our dealer principal: They're enkei STi wheels, stamped 8J Now I know some STi's have the 5x100 PCD and others have 5x114.3, but I have no idea what year these are from and therefore what PCD they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Cheers guys, i'm slowly learning about turbos (work on hybrids every day and we don't see any turbos at the moment lol!) I shall order one now and hopefully release the mighty burble! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hi all, As you may know i've recently purchased my first turbo impreza! It has the PPP installed, but is a tad quiet for my liking. Will fitting a straight through centre pipe affect the back pressure so much that it will change the performance of the car? (I.e will it require a remap) Rest of the exhaust system is totally standard apart from the prodrive backbox. TIA! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Technically a 1997 impreza sport 2.0- got it aged 14 for just under £500, mainly to tinker with and learn about cars! Was lucky enough to buy a few days provisional insurance on this (hence L plates) but was too expensive to insure when I passed... The first car I drove on the road on my own answer is very boring: a 1.0 corsa (awful thing) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It's the GB270 spoiler, I was actually lucky enough to have the same spoiler on my non-turbo! Mark it may seem ages away, but trust me, when you get into one boy is it worth it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thought i'd just share that I picked up my first turbo scooby yesterday.. She's a 2005 WRX SL with PPP. In my absolute favourite colour and coming from a 2.0R sport, it bloomin' shifts! I have loved imprezas' for as long as I can remember and I can't believe I am now living the dream and driving one! Plans for now are: -Gold Prodrive GT1's with pirelli Pzeros -put the prodrive backbox back on with a straight centre pipe -maybe fiddle with the interior dials/buttons to make them blue As I say i've had it since yesterday and am so so thrilled with it! 9. 14 when I had my first (97 sport for the princely sum of £500) 18 when I got my 2.0R sport (non turbo) 21 now and literally just picked up my first turbo! (05 hawk wrx sl ppp) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'll be there if we get a club stand! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm definitely interested in going on the club stand again this year [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I had the letter in April last year... Many phonecalls to the dealer later, and i'm waiting for my airbag to arrive! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have a hawk and the rear level sensor drop link seized so the headlights were pointed to the floor. Managed to get a link only (subaru would only sell me the whole sensor assembly for £200) from toyota for £30 and problem solved! One way to check if they're working properly is to go from a flat surface to a hill and you will hear the motors turn the beams up/down after a few seconds of being stationary on the hill and see the beams move slightly too! 14. When air con is re-gassed it vacs the system completely, taking all gas and any moisture out of the system, then as you said Lenmac, you have to put the correct amount of gas in (this is on top of the slam panel on my car). It could be your A/C system has a leak (most common area for this is around where the dryer meets the condenser, you should be able to see this through the grilles on the front bumper- however a garage should check for leaks and correct pressures before they just regas a system... 15. In that case i'll dig the ECU out, if nothing obvious there i'll try and follow the loom back as far as possible... If I made my own ground would the ECU throw a code as it's not detecting the correct voltage..? Or maybe it reads the voltage on the positive side... Electrics confuse the hell out of me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Great minds think alike! Just tried from the connector +ve to chassis and i've got 12v! Now I know it's the ground, just got to try and see where that pesky -ve wire goes after it disappears through the bulkhead... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I don't think so... The code is for the heater circuit not the actual reading, and it's the only code present [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hi all, I'm currently having a massive headache with my upstream o2 sensor heater circuit. I had the P0031 code pop up a few months ago, with no other codes. I foolishly bought a replacement o2 sensor, fitted it and code is still there, even after clearing. I tested the voltage at the connecter from the car and found it to only be 9v. I managed to test this all the way back to the grommet in the firewall and was getting 9v there aswell. I tried tracing the wires on the inside of the car but was absolutely hopeless- too much in the way! I'm hoping somebody has experience with this or has access to the subaru tech manuals- if so please help as i'm losing my !Removed! mind! Cheers in advance [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Doesn't look like they've given anymore info than that... It mentions an 'instructions document' but I can't seem to find it anywhere... Bit worried they don't even know what year it is aswell lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Cheers for the reply! It would ideally need to be anthracite and the 5x100 fitment rather than STi fitment- if so, is it used or new? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hi all, I went over a rather nasty pothole a few days ago and when changing my tyre earlier today I noticed the wheel has been turned into an oval... Does anyone know where I can buy a single GT1 wheel, as all I can seem to find is sets of 4 :( Cheers in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Unfortunately the non- turbos don't have much scope for power increase, but a drop-in air filter is one engine mod i'd recommend! I have a pro-r foam filter in my '07 rsport and it does improve throttle response a little (I try to avoid K&N as i've heard stories of the oil on them causing havoc with the MAF sensor) As far as suspension goes, you can make them handle just like their snail powered cousins! Common suspension mods are performance springs/coilovers, antiroll bars and bushes... Can't say for the '07-> models but i've fitted some prodrive springs to mine and it made such a difference! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ooh it's on sale! I may just install in under my seat then and be done with it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hi all, I currently have a vibe blackair 12" active enclosure which has worked very well for me for the past almost 2 years, which going on a track day yesterday became a nuisance (came away from the velcro it was secured down with, ripping wires out with it)... The other problem is I would ideally like some more space in my boot! I really want the bass as it compliments my music perfectly, so the way I see it, I have 2 options: 1: take apart the sub/amp and buy/make a custom box to fit them in the corner of the boot 2 (the preferred option): buy a slim sub and fix to the rear of the back seats I was wondering if anyone has experience with these slim subs at all and I want to know would it be powerful enough to be situated in the boot (i'm not after chav booming bass but also don't want it to feel lacking) Sorry for the ramble but thanks in advance for any help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. The model code will be on the chassis plate in the engine bay- should look something like this: The model code will be the 'applied model'. Hope this helps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
