  1. I did mention that in my post. Didn't want to fit them until ready for new tyres and then it'll be full set up. Just wanted to have all the info ready to tell the garage what I'd like from the car.
  2. Are you swapping wheels or trying to put the wider tyres on your rims?
  3. Gambits also a compulsive liar. Make of that what you will [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji8]
  4. Picked up some hks coilovers along with front and rear upper strut braces this week. They'll get stored for a while because my tyres are due replacing soon and I want to fit it all at the same time so I only have to get one geo set up. Wondering what sort of camber to go for, any suggestions? Also what sort of drop do we think is suitable? I'm not so fussed on the lowering aspect and I've never fiddled with suspension. I have had coilovers before so I know what to expect in regards to comfort 😂😏😜 For ride height, if it helps I'm on standard wheels 205/50/16.
  5. Welcome to the club [emoji106] [emoji5]
  6. You really got a bargain there with the description youve given. Good catch. If you have no history or are unsure I'd recommend getting the cambelt done along with the service. When it comes to parts, check out importcarparts.co.uk. They stock genuine Subaru parts without the genuine Subaru price tag. Air, oil and fuel filter for the classic can be picked up for £12.50.
  7. Just renewed mine but now checked if I added the boss. She'd cost me an extra £13/month when she passes...best call all the local instructors and pay them off to refuse lessons.
  8. Chances are the second link but for safety get your head under the bonnet and have a look down the back of the turbo. Snap some pics and share if you feel unsure.
  9. I know a place that can look at your brakes. They'll diagnose any suspension damage on their specially designed test road too.
  10. I'm sure down pipe are all studs so just need to GET SOME NUTS!
  11. I have the uppipe for you. Not me but hold fire.
  12. I stuck with Keith Michaels. Went down from 660 to 572 iirc. Covers mods.
  13. Have a look on eBay for anyone breaking a car. Just send them a message asking if they have the pipe. Many bargains to be had.
  14. Found myself a set of hks coil overs. They'll be stored until New tyres go on so it can be tracked up together. Means all handling has been done now.
  15. East Kent Subaru. Ask for rich. Very good bloke. Local to Canterbury.
  16. Happy for that tbh @£26. Cheaper than my air filter that needs replacing more often
  17. Mine was from eBay, £26. Been fitted just over a year. Had no issues at all.
  18. It is indeed. Gearbox, diff, shafts, hubs, suspension all doors and rear panels. When I went to get your bits it was a sorry sight. that's for sure. Heart breaking
  19. He kept the centre/rear box though. Told him if he has any other bits I'd gladly store them for him.
  20. Had a similar issue when I first got my car. Noticed steam but no visible leak until revving up to 3k rpm and see a tiny stream of coolant spraying out the plastic. Good spot and good timing to avoid any further damage 👍
  21. Bad news I'm afraid. The decat went to the scrap yard this morning along with the rest of the car.
  22. I've always enjoyed using tapatalk. More so for the notifications. It's all I've ever used so I may be biased but I can't get on with using the web or mobile browser.
  23. Started it, **** [emoji90] [emoji90] myself because it went tap tap tap for a second or two. That'll teach me to stop using it daily. Sounds fine now. But it's given me a few weeks of paranoia. Possible piston slap over anything else because it's been sat all week and freezing outside.
