  1. As above plus possible chassis mods to cope with power increase - thicker anti roll bars etc
  2. Dont know if these are still available? slightly more expensive than Mr Lime though http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/15860-17-5x100-fox-racing-evo-rims/
  3. Wotcha and welcome - mileage isnt high but a sniff test will give you head gasket result.
  4. ahhh you know what they say - its not true unless we see photographic evidence ;)
  5. ahhhh - just too late ordered one 6 weeks ago unfortunately - but that is a great deal
  6. Just ordered on myself - will let you know what the outcome is
  7. There we go MrB comes in with best of both worlds - nice one matey :)
  8. Also as well as blocking Isnt the forester springs change an option - based upon a shared platform - the reverse of FarmerPugs project? mind you dont know if it will get you the full additional height?
  9. any existing mods? there is a thread somewhere with Savage and others breaking it down what you can do step by step - gambit posted a link to a tuning site as well which gives a step by step guide to ugradeing the impreza - Im on my laptop at the mo and all my scooby links are on my PC so unfortunately I cannot help more start with intake and output, panel filter (hi flow) free flow exhaust, higher spec fuel pump and a remap
  10. That golf looks mint - hang on to it long enough and it wont lose any value
  11. hot water lemon famous grouse and honey, high ball glass full x2 then go to bed with t shirt and shorts on at least (pyjamas optional) get it sweated out of you - right as rain next day :)
  12. Wotcha and welcome Kenny - lovely looking motor - feel free to jump right in quite a few members from Scotland :)
  13. Which ever you go for I would factor in a new fuel pump particularly if the motor is still on its original - The Prodrive stuff you can fit yourself quite easily - apart from remap. I have no experience of the other two providers but I know there are some not so favourable reviews floating around.
  14. blinkin flip and blimey- this censorsip is a little extreme
  15. !Removed! ell cant believe it censored the male version of a hen
  16. Did have a hefty chortle at that one - but having met a real life Hertz Van Rental and an Anne De ***** (I jest you not) I was happy to believe its authenticity Anne did get married in the end :D
  17. Its def true its only worth what someone will pay for it - yours is a plate that doesnt have an age related indicator on it plus the MX designator so could appeal to a wider customer - chap at Cradley Heath Kawasaki has the plate KX 250 means nothing to the majority of people but to some they would pay quite a bit for it - The plate for sale is, as previously higlighted going to appeal to Kelvin Cuthbertson who owns a WRX same age or newer than 06 year (as you cannot have it on an older car)
  18. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to get involved, all friendly on here ☺
  19. Hadnt thought of that but ill wager there is a plug you can put in to the loom to fool any canbus logic... quick search found these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-2-1-OHMS-SRS-AIRBAG-RESISTORS-0-25W-2-AMP-FUSED-BYPASS-FAULT-LIGHT-/261540423452?hash=item3ce506271c:g:xtgAAOSwI~VTzsgl
  20. It would be more the theory I would be interested in - what to look for etc - this you could apply to maps in general
  21. I did that the first time on my last hatch but I was being a bit of a Jessie and it was too cold to be rolling around on the floor ☺ Are they HB3's on a classic as I have realised I ordered the wrong ones so will be getting some more shortly (even brighter ☺) so these ones will be surplus to requirement
