Wotcha and welcome - I said similar things about the Subaru show concept of the WRX so unfortunately - not your fault - I think it is more what you are having to work with as a starting point. That said though when you see it from different angles you should get the Subaru styling. Buuuuut I would def buy one :)
Please keep us posted as I would like to follow this project ;)
These guys are UK based and have a halo option - try them - they also do a multi coloured led halo with an in car control unit if you fancy something different - show use only of course

Wotcha and welcome - tidy looking motor you have there - feel free to get stuck in all friendly on here and as long as you are not trying to sell a wrx as an STi - I dont really care - to me its like logoing up your scooby in Colin McCrae / Richard Burns livery - its not a rally car but you're not trying to say it is
Wotcha and welcome -
I would go with first option for simplicity but build a higher spec, lightened, balanced, knife-edged, coated crank etc then get it set up properly with a map.
Frustrating when you put a dink in your own motor but i must confess to doing the same with a boot lid, the catch loop needed adjusting but i worked that out after i had put a dent in it - fortunately i was able to tap it out from other side ☺
Not the type of experience that would get you recommending the products. Have had the exhaust cost from dealer come up before in a thread, getting a stainless one made up from someone like longlife was recommended as you get lifetime guarantee for less cost
