impreza coolant and water questions
its green in colour as its a coolant mix - not just water. There are not supposed to be any particles in it but I suspect someone has used radweld on it already. Have a look with a torch in the radiator itself see if it is coated with anything or just metal

My Blobeye WRX
Looking good - and some off-roading there as well ;) the lights do look a lot better de-tangoed IMO so a simple but effective mod - dont worry about how long it takes, we have no plans for disappearing just yet :)

My 2002 Bug eye project
Great stuff - like to see a nice progress and what members are doing to their pride and joy not heard of a scoobyrace tune - but then again I had no idea what a 'snorkus' was either so there you go :)

2005 Impreza STI
agreed that gel is something I will be investing in - the springs have come up well to - will be interesting to see how long they do last but powder coating springs is quite common particularly on bikes so I think they should last quite well
- ignition module!!!!

running problem
I'd go for NGK iridium or R's like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-NGK-Spark-Plugs-for-Subaru-Impreza-Turbo-EJ20-1992-2000-BKR7EIX-IRIDIUM-2667-/230752649212?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Cars+Year%3A1999|Car+Make%3ASubaru|Model%3AImpreza&hash=item35b9edfffc

fmic gold colour
Echo that JPS Lotus F1 paint job, iconic - I think with the alloys being gold as well it could work

Stuck caliper?
the amount of times I have arrived at the end of the road and had to pump frantically is numerous - you would think I would learn but I always forget
-
Stuck caliper?

My Subaru Impreza
As Pete said - you are spoilt for choice - browse you tube for vids of the sounds of the different brands and see which you prefer. ...and those rims look awesome!!

The start of something
either look great - what you could do is start with the clean look and evolve to the rally rep as funds allow, that way you get both :)

locking wheel socket
I had a merc locking nut that had seized on (the old garage using air sockets on wheels malarky) I tried drilling, as it was hardened teh drills would not touch it + welding - couldn't get it out in the end we had to sacrifice the wheel. have you had the v5 yet - does it have the former registered keeper on it - the dealer will also have the details of where they got it from, before you spend any money push them to help you sort it. Also why not try a Subaru dealer - see if they have a set of keys - they may be able to get it off for you. Petes idea is a good one as well - that tends to be the approach a garage will use - impact driver and an Irwin socket

locking wheel socket
I would contact the person you purchased the car off first

changing rear discs and front pads
you may need some penetrating oil / plus gas for the caliper bolts - you can get piston compressors for the calipers but if you are careful a lever will suffice. I always copper grease the surface of the anti squeal plates so the piston doesn't bind, a rubber mallet may be useful if the disc is a little tight, other than that ring spanners or sockets, possibly a philips head screwdriver, not sure if your discs have a retaining screw
