  1. look further afield than UK as well Canadian breakers carry more of the outback and forrester parts
  2. top job - can see you replacing those hose clips with shiny ones now you have a new pink backdrop ;)
  3. it does sound like a fuelling issue related to control but unfortunately I cant advise any further as I have no experience with your motor - sorry
  4. think you have caught it early on - if you had left it (as some people do) there may well have been additional issues
  5. any chance he could take some shots of the fit process - would be a good thread?
  6. subtle - like it plus some protection for your lenses
  7. Its not my money but I would avoid - the photos are not too clear but the badges don't look right to me - there is one which looks genuine with a few more marks and that is on ebay starting at £100 - You have got yourself a sorted motor if you really want the HKS it is worth saving for. forge do valves which are great quality and not as expensive as the HKS but comparable to the Bailey option as an alternative http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?cat=220201&catalog=220201DV&inc=product http://www.baileyshop.co.uk/subaru-impreza-version-7-8-01-07-bailey-dump-valve-83-p.asp
  8. does the M3 come with iridium sunglasses as well
  9. couldnt tell you - to the right person they could have a decent price
  10. echo Gambit there - sounds like you have received some inaccurate info there - bolting on a DV is straight forward no need for any remaps or additional upgrades - there have been comments in the past about the cars not running as well with them on but that has been going from a standard recirc valve to an external vent, when reverted they were fine. I have never had any issues with fitting dump valves and they have always resulted in smoother gear changes
  11. As with the other thread - if you don't know what has been done to the engine along with all the other mods you wont know if it is high or not - turning it down to be on the safe side will not be a bad thing though. When you removed the manual boost controller what did you replace it with?
  12. That is a tidy motor would like it on my drive but circumstances dictate etc etc - good luck with the sale
  13. there are a few threads on here where engine mods for more power are discussed and the short answer is it varies as dependant on what engine you have you could be looking at a full engine rebuild to cope. but supporting mods could include the pump, injectors, map, intake, exhaust, bigger TMIC or FMIC
  14. Wotcha and welcome - great to have you onboard - any chance of some photos?
  15. hey hey - looking sharp there chap :)
  16. shame cant really blame her though
  17. great I taped it ;)
  18. Wotcha and welcome - it would be after the filter
  19. when was it aired??
  20. A bargain there for someone
  21. they keep the turbo spinning on gear changes so there is overall less opposing pressure forces acting on the turbo - which is a good thing. you wont get a genuine brand new HKS for 30 quid thread on how to tell http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/5234-hks-ssqv-dump-valve-real-or-fake/
  22. the centre is not a bad option as you get to keep the backbox you like for style reasons
  23. yup it means hello
