  1. They do offer a digital version
  2. Crisp white looks great - its the shade of gold that I think can ruin it - for me it has to be a JPS gold against a Ducati orange gold - I thik the final photo has the best gold colour for me but it may be the light helping but any of the above I would love to own - have to lose the roof scoop though :)
  3. Congratulations buddy thanks for stepping up - I can see the success of the meets will definitely continue in your part of the world!!
  4. You could also do tints as an alternative?
  5. its a conglomerate of what is out there on the web - I have all the info they stated from different suppliers as bookmarks on my mac, all the photos are from the feature car of the chap who works for Cosworth 's mule Subaru. It would be interesting to actually speak to the author and see who his sources were
  6. Cover car is a classic beast from RA Developments got a peach of a sequential box in it
  7. very nice Pete - will give lovely with that slick 6 speed close ratio box
  8. Cusco will have work cut out with the original :D
  9. funny
  10. It is amazing how quickly it is coming together - big boys lego ;)
  11. Just read a piece in the March issue of Japanese Performance car magazine which has details a buying and modification guide for the 2008 - 2011 WRX STI - ill pull the main points together in another thread - in the meantime though there was one thing they stated that rang a couple of bells '...there seems to be issues with the standard ECU maps, including the PPP upgrade versions...' This conflicts with information I received from Subaru themselves regarding the dealer supplied PPP models and as such was stated by me in a previous thread discussing this subject. I dont know where JP mag gets its info but given this I will, from now on, be recommending a remap by the likes of JGM and Andy Forrest etc - not necessarily to get more power but to sort the fuelling parameters at higher revs which result in engine failure.
  12. Thanks Matt right so the H4's I went for are this make from this company - they are 100w rated though so very bright http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MTEC-H4-12v-100w-SUPER-WHITE-HID-CLASS-HALOGEN-BULBS-/400380977844?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d3890e2b4&clk_rvr_id=590755047752&afsrc=1 these are lower wattage but great quality http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sylvania-9003-HB2-H4-SU-SilverStar-Ultra-Halogen-Headlight-Bulb-Low-High-Beam-/161216020962?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25893941e2 previous discussion on the topic http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/4803-advice-on-bulbs/
  13. :D :D :D love it
  14. Unfortunately wrt to Dopey Twits I have had the complete opposite on successive occasions and would never recommend them.
  15. I think their time would be better spent honouring their existing commitments regarding insurance products tbh.
  16. Its starting to sound like you need to complete a good service - good oil & filter plus decent plugs and possibly an air filter then start trouble shooting - check the codes, check all your earth contact points are corrosion free, check your tubing for splits / leaks, check for a spark - even though thought that could be breaking down under load I would echo Mr B and advise caution whilst you are investigating because if you are driving around still boosting fine but having fuel dropping off you are going to run lean and that is like turning your blow torch flame from yellow flickering flame to bright blue and it will burn through your pistons in no time
  17. well from the one shot it is looking tidy :)
  18. no, just to scrape the old stuff off and replace - will stop all the crud burning off on the exhaust pipes etc and smelling if you did it in situ plus back ache leaning over to get it off
  19. fair enough I dont blame you ;)
  20. I would plate over powder coating - its not tough enough to withstand the socket or grinding against the wheel mounting face, will look shabby instantly.
  21. great to hear - but of course around here its not true without photographic evidence - feel free to put up a new thread or post in the gallery ;)
  22. great update all the same - shows the perils of over torquing :)
  23. Tom feel free to take photos as it may help identify what you have / dont have - ie door pillars / A frames, key fobs etc
  24. Id remove IC itself
  25. I have seen it on the top of bike and car radiators - it is there to get the air to flow through the fins not over the top, you can replace it for a better look or fashion a plate
