  1. depending on what spec you are running you may surprise him - one of our members from Scotland (Wagonwheels I think) has a really serious sleeper Fozzy lots of BHP and torque plus you can get more clubs in the back of yours ;)
  2. definately not something to rush - took me a day to do the same with a bike engine
  3. it would be "stop taunting me!!"
  4. The car is a peach - we had a member sell an immaculate example of one last year - kidneys and children were offered but unfortunately it was a cash only deal :D
  5. I think the early 2.5l boxsters were only running about 200 bhp because I remember we were having a bit of a giggle about a mates tuned Nova GTE having more BHP at the time
  6. just read more detail I didnt know cosworth did gaskets for porsche engines?
  7. 28 bids - will be interesting to see what it goes for - dont quite know where the porsche engine comes from unless its an early flat 6? pity the pictures are so small
  8. for instance if you pull up the 2007 outback you can have the same part number for the glass but it looks like they didn't offer a privacy glass option for that year, again I dont know what specifically you have - tints or not, so cannot advise further
  9. with the site you can pull up the outback model but for different years and see if the part number is a match
  10. Wotcha and welcome - not great news sorry to hear that. this is a US site but could give some idea of shared body parts with older cars, not sure if this is the right piece of glass etc as I'm not familiar with the model but if it is it would be worth importing as its either $244 or $270 http://www.buysubarupartsnow.com/parts-catalog/subaru/outback/2009/2-5i/2-5l-h4-gas/body-hardware/glass
  11. you should be able to see all the belts if you remove the front cover - I would have suggested Adam as a possibility for spares but he is dealing with excess water at the moment so is a little distracted
  12. Almost there - not long now :)
  13. shaping up to be a great meet
  14. its all makes great reading Ben, nice job ;)
  15. nothing in my immediate vicinity, odd small branch down nothing serious
  16. wrt vortex fins - I like a clean look on a car - the Subaru rear windscreen bridge spoiler is more my thing. wrt to your boot spoiler I agree with Gambit you could get away with it and a body kit but if you are going to go for it, why not go big :)
  17. Wotcha and welcome - so to me it looks like you are crossing a couple of race styles... my 2p if you like the spoiler go for a full GT look but that will mean more expense on a body kit and def 18" alloys as Pete has suggested. not keen on the roof fins myself looks a bit too EVO for me - which is fine on an EVO. They are not major mods an easily reversed and after selling the parts on you could invest in the mods Pete suggested or just the alloys, keep it clean like this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/28956617@N05/4665558526 http://www.flickr.com/photos/28956617@N05/4665560084 http://www.flickr.com/photos/28956617@N05/4664933857
  18. oooooh matron pleeeease - some great prep work there, really good job on the head :)
  19. youll be getting stuck in with the poor boys and angelwax in no time at all :P
  20. I thought so went from 17 - 21 mpg in one tank full, which was nice :)
  21. I ran EBC green and red stuff with black diamond discs and had no issues with excessive disc wear
  22. Yes - I found an extra 4-5 mpg
  23. Ahhh that does potentially explain it - I know the twin turbo toyotas and Nissan dont have that characteristic so it might be possible then - I would have to start researching the legacy plant as well - only just starting to get my head around the impreza one :D Can the Vac system be simplified?
  24. Rollamite gave his completed sport project to his mum for xmas and now she has branded hoodies etc really embraced the whole thing - still not a member on here though will have to give him a nudge :D
  25. They are very infectious :P
