  1. Wotcha and welcome - any chance you could post a vid??
  2. It will certainly reach the owners - dealers only tend to contribute on here with discounts and special events, it would be nice to get some advice from them but not so far
  3. As Gambit said - hopefully it will go to someone who can put in the spanner time
  4. Wotcha and welcome - that machine looks showroom fresh - very nice
  5. or a closed deck EJ20 for future tuning potential
  6. Wotcha and welcome - love your member name for a scooby forum :D We do have some Forrester owners on here so they may be able to help advise
  7. Are you going to do a before and after video so we can hear the sound difference???
  8. Subaru specified for my 18's normal load Fr 33 Rr 28 max load Fr 35 Rr 35
  9. It is a great example as you said - good luck with the sale

  11. NIce - a simple resolution for a change!!
  12. depends on budget but if you are looking for an NA engine go for a EJ2.5 then put a 2.6 stroker kit in before you fit - stacks of torque

  14. Nice wheels - good luck with the sale - an absolute bargain for someone!!
  15. Yup check for a fault code - should point you right direction oh and welcome to the forum
  16. Its a slippery slope but a hell of a ride - tee hee
  17. That sounds like a plan - that Capri has made me all warm and fuzzy inside
  18. That is a smart looking vehicle - and IMO if you cant have the power sort the handling and weight and then you save on brake pads by cornering like its on rails :D
  19. Lichfield are recommending 18's as a min for tweaked STI's and I know at least one other member is running 19's in the summer so as long as the rolling radius is not changed 19's should be fine - there are some comments around about the track width being affected on older Subarus leading to handling difficulties but havent come across anything for new age and the STI track is wider then the wrx anyway
  20. hey you were the one who forced me into browsing Subaru goodies sites - I was driven to distraction for at least an hour ;) I must confess my own list is quite lengthy - nothing ever seems to get removed only more things added!!
  21. you can load some in the gallery or set up a photobucket account (its free) (others are available) and post the IMG link - looking good so far though
  22. nice idea addressing flow at both ends :P wrt to the wheels - my 2p drifters etc are giving it stacks in a controlled environment where things are de risked to a certain degree, individuals behind barriers and themselves inside strengthened cars if they have a failure it can be contained if you are doing 70 on a dual track or motorway and you get a stress fracture it is harder to contain and the ramifications can be greater due to the surrounding environment. Also if they dont fit spot on with the car you have, there could be undue stressed on your bearings and hubs - you have spent a lot of money on a great car, I dont think it is worth it.
  23. Wotcha and welcome Daniel - I to am a recent convert and am thoroughly smitten Sounds like you have something that will satisfy your six star appetite until insurance becomes a little more than astronomical - there is a thread that recently covered some of our first cars and believe me what your driving is what I was aspiring to at your age ;) looking forward to the photos!!
  24. Yes it was longlife / cardiff exhausts I was thinking of http://www.longlifecaerphilly.co.uk/
