  1. depends on your insurer if its not performance enhancing I wouldn't worry, to me its like replacing brake discs, if it can be an improvement I would tell them

  8. Evening all - we seem to be having some issues with slow page loads on the forum, unfortunately this seems to be intermittent could I ask any members experiencing slower than normal service to add the following in a post, hopefully we can see if this is widespread or isolated to a few device used: (eg phone, PC, MAC etc) browser used (eg Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari etc) thanks Jay

  13. ahh right - sounds like they are HID's, do you have a trailer compensation switch fitted which would adjust the lights from inside the car?
  14. I thought the MOT and self levelling was only related to HID specific units, does the WRX have HID fitted, thought they were just your normal halogens?

  17. Wotcha and welcome - looks sharp with the Prodrive spoiler
  18. coil overs would be seen as an upgrade
  19. same here - just mileage, IMO the more expensive one is way over priced by at least 2k the cheaper one is a more realistic price - about 1200 wiggle room there I reckon
  20. Wotcha and welcome - are there any engine codes?
  21. The oil will be fine - I would have used fully synth myself but it is approved by all these manufacturers etc so no problems there. ACEA: A3 / B4-08 API: SL, CF Mercedes-Benz: 229.1 VW: 502 00, 505 00 PSA B71: 2296, 2293, 2300 RENAULT: RN0700 MTF-94: Manual Transmissions
  22. agree with the pipework keeping it shiny will make it really stand out
  23. will be interested in your reaction - I feel a big grin coming on wrt tweaks there are many options - start with pipe, filter and remap then brakes, bigger injectors, uprated fuel pump another map, front mount intercooler, bigger turbo another map also any chassis stiffening to suite along the way its a slippery slope but a great slide :)
