  1. bearing in mind its the whole end to end system and it depends what you want performance wise - bolt on some extra dimension / flow tubing in one link of the chain it will have an impact on overall performance. Sounds like you could go one of two ways, revert and be happy with existing or stick with and start looking at fine tuning everything else in line with the change you have made
  2. Jeez Becky that is terrible - did they list what parts needed changing because that only looks like 2 or 3 hours labour
  3. I think we should have it as a sticky :D
  4. its nothing to do with import or not - its to do with the uk regs - letter, number spacing and font size which gives overall size and... what the mot person will pass which is based on what they can clearly read at a set distance whcih gives you angle options on the positioning hence means ST's passes the MOT because it is clear and legible from where the person stands to read it. dibble can confiscate the plate and go through the usual stuff, produce docs, non endorsable fine etc but I believe the worst you can be hammered with is attempting to pervert the course of justice but that tends to be micro or missing plates on top of you doing something else really bad which they may or may not have got evidence of you committing but they want to get you on something
  5. he looks abit old for the saint... but that is dashed sneaky throwing a tv movie... I like it B)
  6. nice looking car - makes my neck ache looking at it though :D good luck with the sale

  9. yes it was - nightmare, not enough women in motorsports as it is she was an inspiration - R.I.P.
  10. Had my wheels done as you can see in the before shots the standard finish does not hold up well at all with corrosion coming through, a single layer coating on the rear inconsistent colour on the front. In the after shots this is the result of an acid dip followed by shot balsting and then a 3 layer coating finished in Anthracite. 4 day turnaround, wheels and valve off, all replaced and rebalanced with gloss black stick on weights :D used these chaps - very pleased with the results http://www.smartcarerepair.co.uk/ Before inconsistent finish corrosion coming through single white paint coat curb attack by a previous owner more corrosion coming through front After this one is a bit dusty from the shop still

  16. it took me 20 years before I finally got my knee down - alot of that was confidence in tyres and my foot peg grinding away so I had to get off the side more :P
